As I told @AP @jspikebudapest Orbán’s diplomacy isn’t just about prestige — it’s about repositioning Hungary as a hub for illiberal cooperation.
A Trump–Putin meeting in Budapest would symbolize an alternative axis of power that seeks to weaken the international multilateral institutional system gradually built after WWII — including the NATO, the EU, ICC.
As it seems at the moment, it is already a huge win for Putin - without any pressure to go in serious peace talks. And the Budapest Memorandum is rolling in its grave. apnews.com/article/hungary-o…

Krekó Péter meghívására a nagykövet a Budapesti Európai Ifjúsági Központban szólalt fel mintegy negyven kíváncsi és elkötelezett fiatal előtt. A francia diplomácia prioritásain túl kiemelte a francia-magyar kétoldalú kapcsolatok fontosságát: a hosszú távú bizalmi kapcsolatot.
