What a heartbreaking week it has been. Sir Patrick Stewart was a friend, a colleague, and a magnificent actor. From the stage to the bridge of the Enterprise, he brought intelligence, grace, and a deep sense of humanity to everything he did. Captain Picard stood for the best of us, and so did the man who played him. I was filled with affection and admiration for him and his work.
My heart goes out to Sunny and his family. He will be deeply missed.
Great actor. RIP.

Republicans: 93% R, 6% D
Democrats: 99% D, 0% R
Independents: 67% D, 30% R
Almost all of the Republican crossover comes from people who call themselves "mostly Republican" rather than "strongly Republican."

Some Senate polls show the GOP doing much better among likely voters than all registered voters. National polls don't show this.
I buy the national polls given validated voter files from years past. The GOP can't count on a 2026 electorate to be much more GOP than all voters.
