After our woodland stroll, and collecting some delicious apples straight from the tree (apple pie later today) we wandered through the village and lads! I found it! Dog people of Twitter, let it be known we have found the mythical PYEBUSH LANE!!

In search of some simple pleasures, my beloved and I headed off to a nearby tiny but perfectly formed woodland. A mixture of broad leaf trees, a sunny clearing, a wooded seating area and a lovely little hazel coppice. Beautifully maintained.

Security for me, but not for thee. This Times photograph encapsulates Britain today. Burnham, with armed protection, jogs past a rough sleeper. A day earlier he announced he's giving military aid to Saudi Arabia and opening a disinformation centre, costing a fair few £million.
