Overnight, Ukraine launched one of its largest drone waves of the war against Moscow. The Kapotnya oil refinery, the largest in Moscow, was hit. Residential buildings were also struck. Two people were killed in the Moscow region and 400 were evacuated. Flight restrictions were imposed at Moscow airports. Russia claims over 1,600 drones were downed, 450 of them aimed at the capital.

Iran has closed a French language centre linked to the French embassy in Tehran under a judicial order, the Tehran prosecutor's office said.
