Garcia: So, to be clear, we have a president that is $2 billion richer just from this last year. We have a son whose wedding is being paid for by rich Russians and oligarchs that have connections to Putin. We have Jared Kushner, who got $2 billion for his investment firm from the Saudis while also doing diplomacy in the Middle East. We have the Kushners who are trying to buy private islands and selling all sorts of merchandise that’s being promoted, oftentimes through government resources. We also have, of course, this insane amount of stock trading that the president himself is doing to enrich himself and his family. And, of course, the sons sitting on boards of private companies that are then getting contracts from the federal government. The amount of corruption is unprecedented. And not only are they lining their pockets, they’re stealing the wealth of hardworking Americans, they’re stealing the hard-earned labor and wealth of working-class people, and then funneling that money to themselves and to the rich donors and large corporations and CEOs across this country. As they get richer, costs go up for the American people. And we know that Republicans in the House and in the Senate are complicit by not calling out this corruption.

BREAKING: MAGA hack Scott Jennings gets hit with a massive $72.5 million lawsuit for defaming progressive streamer Hasan Piker. And it's an absolute slam dunk of a case... Piker, who has become the Republican Party's favored boogeyman this election cycle, is suing Jennings for falsely claiming that Piker called for lynching Black Americans. Jennings ran an edited video, stripped of context, to make it appear that Piker had done such a thing. “Mr. Jennings did not merely mischaracterize something Mr. Piker said. He took a false, fabricated, and manipulated video of Mr. Piker, added a made-up quotation that Mr. Piker never uttered, and then made accusations that went beyond even what the manipulated footage purported to show," states Piker's 38-page suit. There is no wiggle room for Jennings here. He blatantly lied about what Piker said in an effort to paint him as a murderous lunatic. Jennings claimed that Piker was “calling for Black voters to be lynched” and spoke about a "Piker plan of returning our country to lynchings.” In reality, Piker was making the opposite point, but the footage was edited to misrepresent the remarks. Jennings also added a false quotation, subtitles, and commentary to hammer home the lies. Originally, the footage showed Piker stating on his Twitch stream that a conservative commentator wanted to return to the lynching era, not that he himself desired such a thing. “He said, ‘We need more Klansmen, okay? Can we go back to a better time when lynchings were happening?’” said Piker. The creator of the video that Jennings shared removed the "he said" part as well as laughter to falsely present the snippet as an articulation of Piker's genuine beliefs. Jennings spread his smear via X and so far his post has 2.5 million views, meaning that he has inflicted incalculable damage to Piker's reputation and his possible future earnings. On October 13, 2026, his dual life as a community leader collapsed when the Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Branch arrested him on 17 state counts of distributing matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor under the age of 12. The arrest followed a targeted, undercover Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) investigation that tracked the distribution of explicit juvenile content across online accounts. On the day of his arrest, law enforcement executed a search warrant at Salmons’ residence in Leburn, Kentucky, seizing multiple pieces of electronic equipment used to facilitate the activity. During subsequent police interviews, Salmons reportedly admitted to owning the flagged accounts. Investigators revealed that Salmons confessed to utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI) software to deliberately generate the sexually explicit material involving minors before distributing it online. Following the state charges, the case was officially transferred to federal court processing by late October 2026, and he remains detained at the Kentucky River Regional Jail.
