Relative lows on sentiment. Overall, everything from equities to crypto feels bearish. I think equities is mostly tapped and the money held up there is making money elsewhere expensive.
The simple idea is that equities and crypto move fairly lockstep. My sense tells me from seeing crypto underperforming equities for the past 3 years that our industry isn't exposed to the cheap money in equities and thus our downside is fairly protected.
Equities and private markets has AI priced such that it believes RSI is attainable within the next year. I believe that if this holds true, money doesn't actually matter. If money doesn't matter, then the logical choice would just be to spend all your money now. I don't think it's prudent to price the future this way. If it happens great, but I'm not gonna live on a prayer.
In contrast, I think it's better to be allocated in crypto because it's far more sensitive to the upside than it is on the downside. We could retrace back to 60k and it wouldn't really matter all that much.
Given this underlying belief, I think spot majors on crypto is good and the higher quality assets we're seeing is great. Past that would be assets that provide the most amount of beta to wherever money flows in crypto, and obviously my asset of choice there is what this account talks about the most.
I'm sure the markets can stay irrational for a long time and that's why I only deal with spot. I think that a lot of investors oversize their bags relative to their temperament and that's why we see so many crashouts and disillusionment. Morever, I want to make the distinction that I am an investor, not a trader. A trader is very sharp in their understanding of the current world and are incentivized to use that information often. An investor is able to understand how systems work together, what incentives are in play, and is incentivized to use this understanding to make a decision rarely. I make this distinction because I believe everyone should be cognizant of what game they're playing at any given time, and to figure out what game you're the best at over time.
Global finance works best when there is little to no trust involved. This is crypto's promise and why it is inevitably going to handle more money as the technology diffuses throughout our financial systems.

everything was aligned, the community was showing up, the vibes were immaculate, i was looking for every single dollar i could possibly scrape up to throw it into troll because i felt so sure that it was going to a billion. exchange listings, platform interactions left and right, social networking to break outside the walls of crypto, dedicated leaders, the most impressive part to me personally being the fact that troll brought fresh volume/liquidity to the entire solana memecoin eco. so many established community coins were going up as troll ran, and even new pairs would have higher ceilings because people were starting to "believe" again. seeing troll run the way that it did instilled hope, despite many being sidelined(myself included) as someone who had entry at 1M and fumbled about $400k, i didnt even care, i was just happy to see that the trenches were in such good conditions. i mean, ofcourse i was upset about not making that money but seeing the community rejoice in success was actually a beautiful thing to witness
i still have no doubt that troll will have its moment but man, so many people here have truly forgotten what it means to bag work, to worry about putting effort into an idea before being monterarily rewarded, to care about others winning along the way, to make this a meaningful* experience, considering that these trades can potentially change our lives. by meaningful, im not referring to "feelings" or "emotions", but to be known as someone who made a difference for the better, someone who became admirable. if you care about none of that, THATS FINE, if you prefer to buy a coin, DO NOTHING but make money, cool! good for you! why would you be concerned about having a reputation then if not to be of good influence?
