Good points. Subnets definitely trade at higher beta. Expect volatility. Even with the recent dtao sum of subnet decline, the money will eventually flow back in. Can you time this? Maybe, yes. Every time $TAO pumps, exit your subnet portfolio. Wait for SOS to drop and re-enter. Personally I didn't think a 20% pump in $TAO would cause people to do this, but it seems it is the same paper hands in dtao and until big money enters, we will play these little games. But just a reminder here: 17,000 $TAO is the result of dtao dumping from 1.32 to around 1.18. That's not very much. There are multiple wallets with over $10k TAO. Over time, I would think Root Reborn will solve this as people just stake in root. That root stake will make its way to subnets through the validator weighted baskets. Flashback to when Subnet 3 gained notoriety. The subnet went from like .03 to .09. Huge gains. This was also followed by a $TAO pump and ALSO resulted in a DTAO pump. People found Bittensor and also found subnets. Almost every subnet was 🚀. Then we know what happened, which really left a bad taste in people's mouths.....especially the new investors who felt swindled. I do feel as though we need a breakout or two to reach the point of HODLing subnet alpha and not day trading. For me, I do not day trade subnets. I do not exit when they run up. I do, however, try to time my entries. If I feel the subnet is trading at a "52-week low" and I like the owners, fundamentals, etc then I will enter a position. Even with the recent dtao dump, I am still up on the majority of my positions (meaning I've bought in lower than the current price) and I'm also earning APY. Again, when investors return and enter DTAO, all the same names will pump. When people see others entering, more will enter out of FOMO. We've seen this happen multiple times. In the end, I think dtao investors are just early. We all got in BEFORE the subnet alpha halving which will be looked at as the GLORY DAYS years from now. Excited to see what will be announced at Exploit Summit. I'm sure many subnet teams will announce some bangers. Perhaps the recent dtao dump is a GREAT entry point for the next leg up. I already see a lot of blue chip subnets earning revenue trading at massive discounts.

While driving around, I see so many expensive cars on the road. Take this 2027 Yukon Denali as an example. Over $100k What kind of net worth do you need to comfortably purchase this? Personally, I have no debt with over 7 figures in the bank and still would never buy something so expansive. Especially something like a depreciating asset that drops 20% year over year. Seems to me that people live way beyond their means. I still remember buying a car from a dealership when I was like 20 and there was a guy having his whole family (like 5 people) consign in case he didn’t make the payments. Just crazy. No wonder people are broke as shit and living paycheck to paycheck.

People seem to ape in heavy when something start running. I did it with zcash:native , admittedly. Others seem to be doing it too. It's a weird psychological phenomenon. People see Bittensor bittensor:native and it's been relatively flat. They decide not to buy. I get it. You want to buy something with momentum. But zcash:native didn't have any momentum for YEARS. Then it ripped. I see bittensor:native as a massive opportunity here. IMO smart to grab some and stock away for years. Your future self will thank you. Both 21m cap Both halve every 4 years One difference here is that bittensor:native follows Reed's law so the face ripping chart will run harder. Just wait and see.
