The Seattle Seahawks are putting together the best defensive season of the 21st century, at least when measured by yards allowed per game. Sitting at No. 2? The 2008 Pittsburgh Steelers.
I started running through the names on that Steelers defense, and something felt familiar. Then I thought about the quarterback Seattle faces tonight. That 2008 defense had its own issues with a young NFC North quarterback, too.
Some matchups bring back memories. This one certainly does.
