Yesterday’s haul 🌿💜🍅🥒🌶️💛🌿
Even if you only grow herbs or chillies on your windowsill, 3 tomato plants in a bag or some beans in a pot, the flavour, satisfaction & pleasure are immense! 😋

The chrysanthemums in full golden glow in Fridays sunshine ☀️ Certainly not seen the sun over the weekend, a proper spooky, misty weekend for Halloween 🎃

A beautifully marked ‘painted lady’ butterfly 🤎🦋🧡 Sharing my happy space yesterday afternoon.
This year I saw the earliest butterfly in my garden & this is now my latest. I keep reading it’s been a bad year for them but not here! #savethebutterflies 🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋
I took these yesterday. So much still flowering at the very end of October. With an added bonus of a beautiful ‘painted lady’ butterfly keeping me company 💐🦋🩷💜🌿

We came home to a nice little haul. The tomatoes are loosing their intense summer flavour but still better than supermarket 🍅 The peppers continue to taste fabulous though 🫑❤️🫑❤️

After a little holiday I came home to a rather colourful garden! 🌿🩷💜💛🩷🌿 Can it really be the middle of October. What a strange gardening year it’s been! #MagentaMonday

#DailyDahlia 🤍 I am definitely Alwhite alright! I have a white Dahlia but I’m quite confused as I don’t remember a white Dahlia being in my overwintered tubers.🤷🏼♀️😅

Have a lovely day #SundayYellow 🌼
A handful of Habaneros 🧡🌶️🧡🌶️🧡🌶️🧡
It’s been the best chilli harvest I’ve had. Chillies like heatwaves 🥵
The habaneros are the last to ripen for some reason.

I’m sorry for delayed responses, I’m really struggling for time at the moment. I do appreciate your lovely comments. Catch up with you all in the winter 😂🥶
Since the weather’s cooled down & we’ve had plenty of rain, it’s amazing how many flowers have recovered 🌿🩷🌼💜

A chilly morning here in North Yorkshire with temperatures in single figures.
There is an autumnal feel in the air.
#ClematisThursday with some memories of summer.
