The "no-code reporting" pitch usually means a prebuilt template you can barely touch. PowerStacks is drag-and-drop on top of Power BI — meaning the report is yours to reshape, not a screenshot you forward to leadership and hope for the best.

we called it "custom reporting." users called it "finally not exporting to Excel at 11pm."

KQL is powerful. it's also a full-time skill to maintain. most IT admins don't have time to be query engineers.

A failed app deployment hitting 800 devices doesn't stay in IT's lane for long. Leadership wants a status summary. Security wants a compliance snapshot. IT needs answers pulled from Intune, Defender, and ConfigMgr at the same time. That cross-source question is where native reporting quietly falls apart.

we almost shipped PowerStacks without pre-built reports. the thinking was: IT admins know their environment better than we do, so give them a blank canvas and let them build what they need. reasonable assumption. turns out, a blank canvas on day one is just a blank canvas. what people actually wanted was something they could hand to their manager on Tuesday without spending the weekend figuring out where to start. the pre-built reports aren't a shortcut. they're the reason someone can connect their Intune data and pull a compliance report in the same afternoon. try it free at powerstacks.com/

we just shipped pre-built Power BI reports for Intune, SCCM, and Defender for Endpoint. your device compliance data, asset inventory, and security posture — all in one dashboard. data stays in your Microsoft tenant. setup takes minutes. try it free at powerstacks.com/

we almost built PowerStacks around SQL. the early assumption was: IT admins are technical people. they know SQL. give them a query layer, let them build whatever they want. turns out the admins who needed reports the most were the ones already drowning in tickets. they didn't want more query tools. they had KQL for Defender, SQL for ConfigMgr, and a boss asking for a device inventory by end of week. adding another scripting layer was just more of the same problem. drag and drop isn't a simplification for people who can't code. it's the thing that gets you out of the report backlog before Friday.

we almost priced PowerStacks per user. made sense at the time — most SaaS tools do it that way. but IT admins don't think in users. they think in devices. "how many devices are you managing?" is the first question they ask each other. it's how they size up the environment, the workload, the complexity. so we changed the model. per device, not per user. the pricing conversations got easier immediately. not because the number was lower — because the unit finally matched the way IT admins already measure their own world.

executive dashboards for endpoint compliance shouldn't require a three-month BI project. but that's the default for most IT teams. no developer. no budget. so either you export to Excel and manually clean it, or you go into the audit empty-handed. PowerStacks gives your CISO board-ready compliance dashboards built from your Intune, Defender, and AD data. drag and drop. your tenant. no code. try it free at powerstacks.com

we kept building reports for Intune. customers kept asking about ConfigMgr. not because Intune wasn't important — it absolutely was. but most of the teams we were talking to hadn't fully migrated. they were running both. and their reporting gaps were split across two worlds. we had to decide: support the tool they're moving toward, or the reality they're actually living in. PowerStacks connects to both. your Intune data, your SCCM data, same dashboards, same drag-and-drop interface. because most IT admins aren't in the clean version of their environment yet.

we almost shipped asset inventory reporting as a paid add-on. the assumption was that it's advanced enough to charge extra for. turns out it's one of the first things IT admins want to see when they log in for the first time. "how many devices do i actually have, and what's running on them?" that's not a premium question. that's table stakes. we made it part of the core product. and nearly every new customer mentions it in their first week.

we kept calling it a "reporting tool." customers kept calling it "the thing that finally makes my boss stop asking me for spreadsheets." there's a lesson in there. IT admins don't want reports. they want to stop being the person who manually produces reports. that's a different problem, and it's the one PowerStacks actually solves. drag-and-drop dashboards across Intune, SCCM, Defender, and Active Directory. your data, your tenant, your Power BI. minutes to live. try it free at powerstacks.com

a Defender for Endpoint report shouldn't require a PhD in KQL. but that's where most IT admins end up. they know the data exists. they know it matters. they just can't get to it without writing queries they didn't sign up to write. PowerStacks connects directly to Defender and puts the data in front of you as a dashboard. drag, drop, done. no scripts. no consultant. no waiting on the data team. try it free at powerstacks.com

we spent months describing PowerStacks as a "BI reporting platform." nobody cared. then we started saying "pull your Intune compliance report in minutes without touching a script." suddenly IT admins got it immediately. same product. completely different conversation.

we had a call last week with an IT admin who had built their own Intune reporting setup. custom scripts, a SQL database, scheduled exports. took them about three months to put together. it broke every time Microsoft updated the Intune API. they spent more time maintaining the pipeline than reading the reports. that's the thing nobody talks about with DIY endpoint reporting. you don't just build it once. you own it forever. PowerStacks connects directly to your Microsoft tenant and stays current. you drag, you drop, you get answers. no maintenance window required. try it free at powerstacks.com

most IT admins we talk to have Power BI Pro already. they're paying for it through Microsoft 365. and they're still pulling compliance data by hand. every. single. week. PowerStacks just connects to what you already have — Intune, ConfigMgr, Defender — and turns it into dashboards you can actually show your manager. no new tooling. no dev resources. no waiting. your license was already doing half the work.

IT admins shouldn't need a developer on speed dial just to answer 'which devices are out of compliance?' that question should take seconds. with PowerStacks, it does. drag and drop. live Intune data. your tenant. your report. try it free at powerstacks.com

compliance teams ask us the same question every time. "does our data leave the tenant?" everything else comes second. not features. not pricing. not integrations. just that one question. so we built PowerStacks around the answer being no — always. your Intune, SCCM, Defender, and AD data stays inside your Microsoft environment. full stop. no SaaS replication. no third-party servers touching your device data. if you're in healthcare, finance, or government, that's not a nice-to-have. it's the whole ballgame. powerstacks.com — start your free trial.
