POZER

This scene is terrifying. It is more brutal than any scene from a Second World War film. Those directors used all their skill to show the devastation of war. Israel has inflicted destruction more terrible than anything cinema’s finest directors have shown. Nothing here is staged. Gaza is being annihilated. You can smell death and destruction here. In the middle of this hell, scattered tents shelter people trying to go on living. They are fragile signs of life amid so much death. This is only what the earth reveals. Beneath it lie the bodies of tens of thousands of children, women, the sick, the elderly and young men who once hoped to live. Entire families have been wiped out. The disgrace is that there are still people vile enough to deny this genocide. They do not even believe their own lies.
