I quit my job a year ago to focus on trading.
I thought if I just spent 6 months locked in, I’d be able to rush the process.
Instead I put massive pressure on myself.
Every single trade made me anxious.
I was unemployed for 8 months.
Living with my girl, watching my savings slowly disappear.
It didn’t feel good.
I took a part time job just to cover rent and food.
Still wasn’t enough. I could barely breathe.
In February I went back to a 9-5.
My trading started improving… but the schedule was a mess.
One week London, one week New York.
I was impatient and inconsistent.
So I switched to night shift.
Fixed schedule. More income. Real routine.
Since then my progress has been completely different.
After sitting with this for a day, I have a plan.
I’m taking a step back.
Less posting, more time on the actual work.
I’ll still update you, just not every day.
I also switch to Topstep.
One account a month.
Really just focusing on repetition and use their weekly lock limit.
I start next week.
The goal right now isn’t a payout or getting funded fast.
It’s not blowing the account.
I feel like I need to post this.
Tilted again today and blew a fresh funded account.
Something happened that never happened before..
I actually wanted to quit.
Showing up and doing what I know I have to do has never felt this hard.
I keep breaking my own rules. I spend too much on evals every month.
And right now it feels impossible.
Same cycle every week. Get funded. Make a little. Then blow it on a day where I didn’t have a good read and couldn’t take the loss.
I don’t know how long I can keep doing this.
It’s the same pattern as after my first payout. I started throwing more money at evals, got more aggressive, stopped holding my rules. It took 8 months to get the next payout. Now it’s been 6 weeks without one.
The fact that I’ve already spent 40% of what I made is eating me alive. I want that money back.
I have to change. Not the strategy.
Me.
And I really want this shit.
I need to start act like I want it.

I was emotionally overloaded today..
I shouldn't even open up the charts.
My dog isn’t well. Had to book the vet before I even sat down.
Wasn’t focused. Same pattern as usual... too much size, stopped out.. ignored the DLL.
Setup was good but how I traded it wasn't
Bought an flex eval again and made the 50% Consistency.
This guy deserves way more credit.
He puts really the work in and actually has a such good heart.
He DMed me over the last couple weeks and started working through my stuff with me.
There aren’t much guys out there like that.
His content is way too underrated.
You already know what you're supposed to do. What changes under pressure is not the knowledge. Your access to it changed.
So I built a journal that tracks that instead of tracking performance. No PnL, no win rate, nothing to total up at the bottom. 2 minutes a day and 10 on a Friday.
It's free.

Weekly Recap📆
8 Trades: 2W & 6L
Still learning. Mostly how to step away and do what I said I would.
Ngl this is a tough month for me.
Took a small break on tuesday and wednesday.
Going back through old journals to see where I slipped and how often I repeat the same thing that puts me back in that hole.
I decided to slow down and really work on my quality again.
Hard watching yourself at your best a few weeks ago and sitting at the bottom again.
It is what it is.. there is only one way out of it.
⚠️Economy Calendar Outlook⚠️
NFP WEEK!
High volatility expected, especially on the last two days.
✅Monday: Trading Day.
✅Tuesday: Trading Day.
✅Wednesday: Trading Day.
✅Thursday: Trading Day.
⚠️Friday: NFP. Trade after 10 am.
Be careful!
Stay sharp and trade safe everyone!
The last two years went by like nothing.
Just hustle.
Doesn’t even feel like two years of trading. That’s the scary part.
I used to be the “I’ll do it tomorrow” guy.
Something shifted two years ago.
I get up early. No snooze.
I do my work and do the extra. Daily.
I realized something over this period...
You always think you have time
But it's clearly that time has you
It’s a constant fight against that.
And you never know when it ends.
So do something with it.
The gym taught me more about trading than anything else.
Same boring lifts every session.
Same boring meals every day.
Don’t change the system.
Do the work.
Don’t do it when you’re injured.
Rest days are important.
It takes years to look how you wanted to look.
And when you get there, you usually want more.
Trading is the same thing.
Took two days off X.
I needed to sit with what happened.
I deleted the DLL in a losing trade. I already knew that was the line and I still crossed it. That’s what I couldn’t shake.
So I went through the journal.
Not only looking which pattern repeats.. I started to look when I lose control and how often I repeated it.
Last 4 months look worse than I thought. Started going through it properly. Not done yet. I’ll share it when it’s actually finished.
Paper traded the last two days my head feels a bit clearer now.
I’m back. Same rules. Smaller.
If I hit the limit I’m done for the day.
No deleting it this time.
Tilted again.
I was in a losing trade and deleted the DLL.
I know how that sounds.
So now I'm starting something that I should've start way earlier.
I start to paper trade and won't trade this account the whole week or maybe longer.
I need to stop this behavior and for that I need consequences.
Weekly Recap📆
11 Trades: 5W, 1BE, 5L
I don't repeat myself here today.
I said it often enough what I did wrong over and over again.
On FOMC I had problems with fomo + sizing and hit Lucids DLL so fast I revenge traded the same account on in london.
I already said what I need to fix.
I want to show it.

My friends called me crazy.
When I started using weekends for myself.
Stopped going out on Friday nights.
I don’t talk to them about it anymore.
I just do my thing.
Nobody else is going to change my life.
If you want a different outcome, stop doing what everyone else does.
Last week I said the PWL sweep looked too shallow.
Starting to like the daily again.
Buyside is pretty obvious from here.
Only thing I’m watching is the SIBI.
We need to push through that if we want higher prices.
