I’m pleased to present my first guide dedicated to UR Prowess in Standard. I’ve compiled everything I learned while preparing for the Turin Regional Championship in this document.
The deck is completely free and is available in English and French !

The LONG AWAITED Jund sac guide is OUT! 👽
I’ve spent weeks testing different builds and configurations, and I believe I’ve found the best one! 🦎
The guide covers key matchups, sideboarding, play patterns, and everything I’ve learned along the way.

9/1 in league with Esper Persist yesterday. I work on this archetype lately and i'm really curious
Having Persist alive most of the time is a big upgrade of Goryo and make the deck really smooth
The deck need still some work not sure about Phelia and Emperor of Bones
@fireshoes
Finish in 9th clown place in the Modern Challenge with Boros Energy.
I think the deck has still a lot of potential.
Testing Belladona Cook and it was okayish but nothing great.
Maybe i want to switch the 2nd Thraben for 2nd March. Also Purge in side needs to be a PTE i think.

Poor guy seems surprised to be playing against decks made by autistic people in Magic 🦧

HOF discussion: I think JED isn't getting enough attention, he is THE pillar of the French community on top of being an exceptional player.
He build the Baguette crew, he created the largest cube community in France, he plays a ton of local events and is loved by the community
I had a wonderful time at PT Amsterdam and then at Spotlight Brussels with friends and meeting new people.
Although the tournaments didn’t go as well as I’d hoped, the team trio experience is unmatched. I’ve never been happier about a win with my friends when we were on 0/3.
I was also able to make a lot of progress with @PiemontiAndrea over the weeks in Limited (a format I’d never really been interested in) by developing a more precise macro understanding. That allowed me to win a few booster boxes and finish 5-2 at the Limited Qualifier on Sunday with a deck I found difficult to manage (though I lost the sixth round due to my own mistake).
I’m really happy with the people I’ve spent these past few weeks with and with the prospects for the future and the possibilities for improvement I hope I still have.
I think one of my opponents cheated against me—or used an angle shoot—and that the ruling protected him during the Modern PTQ at Magic Con Amsterdam.
He (we were both French-speaking, and the game was being played in French) attacked me with a Ragavan, an Ocelot, and a Guide while he had two energy. I decided to cast KCommand for 4 mana on his Ocelot and draw a card (he asked me to clarify my modes, and I confirmed my choice). In response, he decided to cast Galvanic Discharge on his Ocelot to gain 3 energy and claimed that his Guide’s trigger was still on the stack to target his Ragavan.
Disagreeing with this situation —since I believed his trigger had resolved (without having any effect and without being verbalized, because my opponent only had two energy in his pool) before my KCommand—I called the judge and then the Head Judge, both of whom ruled in his favor.
The main argument put forward is that the trigger on Guide of Souls is an invisible trigger and that, under the misstrigger policy, it can be triggered at any time before it has an impact on the game.
I disagree with applying this rule to this situation, as the purpose of the rule is to protect the player with a trigger from others trying to “eat” it. In this case, in my opinion, the trigger was not overlooked but had no impact on the game and was informally resolved.
I believe the rules regarding miscommunication should have been applied, and that my opponent took advantage of a deliberately ambiguous situation to gain an unfair advantage.
Aside from the outcome of the game—which wasn’t all that important to me—I was really upset by the way the situation was handled (though I have no personal complaints against the HJ, with whom I was able to talk afterward), and I’m wondering about the issue of invisible triggers, which have already caused problems in the past, particularly in the case involving Sheoldred. I feel that applying this rule in this specific case completely goes against the game’s current philosophy, where we ask players to be more flexible—especially regarding minor rollbacks or missed triggers—so that the players’ gaming experience more closely resembles how games should play out online.
@fireshoes
Although I disagree with the ruling given the game's current philosophy, I understand the reasons that led the judge to make this decision. I think there was room to interpret the rules differently based on other rules, particularly the one regarding miscommunication.
Ultimately, if the rule regarding invisible triggers leads to such situations (such as the Sheoldred case, for example), it could—or should—be modified. Currently, what happens if a player casts three instants with a Monastery Swiftspear on the battlefield (without announcing the Prowess triggers) and another player casts Sear in response to the third one? Which Prowess triggers resolved?
Too free for Biscotte!
After a cuck performance at the TdC (cuck trophy in dual commander), I played the Cuck Challenge Modo with Tron for the first time and made it to the Top 8 (lost twice to the same person in the cuck mirror match).
Most brainrotted deck.
