The behavior we are seeing from Haley Stevens is entirely unsurprisingly given that she called my boss to get me fired in 2022 after I endorsed Andy Levin in the Primary.🤷🏽
For the same reason, the next year she called multiple Black women to try and kick me from the OCDP slate.
October Surprise!
The Michigan Senate "Sabotage" Timeline:
• Fri: Cenk/Rebellion PAC drops a 🗑️recycled ad attacking Rogers, ending with "Abdul El-Sayed is for you."
• Sat: Obama rally highlights Dem momentum.
• Sun: Haley Stevens appears on CNN panel; never mentions ad but begins to sow doubt in how El-Sayed is campaigning.
• Mon: Stevens quote-tweets Cenk to blast ad. El-Sayed campaign explicitly states: Ad not affiliated with campaign or Abdul.
• Wed: Stevens’ fiancé (Jason Turkish) attends Mike Rogers event with Ted Cruz & endorses him. Stevens goes on CNN, saying she is still voting for El-Sayed. Cenk has lunch with MTG.
• Thu: Leaked details emerge on upcoming Clyburn ‘unity’ event in Detroit.
• Fri: Stevens issues a long statement demanding El-Sayed disavow the PAC ad ahead of their Sunday church appearance with Clyburn. Stevens’ fiancé goes on TMZ saying she may withdraw endorsement. El-Sayed team pushes back snd say they don’t want her at events.
3 polls this week showed El-Sayed winning
outside the margin of error. It’s very obvious to me this was all calculated and coordinated to cause drama and to harm his campaign.
Abdul needs to run through the finish line and win on Tuesday. Tune out the noise.

Jason is vaporizing Haley’s future so that he can be a main character in this moment and it is sad to watch her participate in that. He was an extraordinarily toxic presence, was verbally abusive to staff and had some of the worst political instincts I’ve ever witnessed.
Rep. Haley Stevens' fiancé, Jason Turkish, says Jewish Democrats are deeply troubled by the growing dispute between Stevens and Michigan Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed.
Speaking on @foxandfriends, Turkish says longtime Democratic families are struggling with how to respond as El-Sayed faces criticism over his views on Israel and his handling of an ad Stevens has condemned as antisemitic.
The confrontation comes after El-Sayed's campaign tells Stevens to stay away from his events, throwing a planned Sunday appearance with Rep. Jim Clyburn into uncertainty.

My only birthday wish is for you to go vote and then text 42 people you know to remind them to vote as well.

I’m just gonna leave this here- a congresswoman who flipped a Trump district to win a competitive election is painfully aware that condemning an ad less than a week out from an election will not be what makes or breaks a campaign. This is an intentional attack against Abdul El-Sayed and should be treated as an attack against the Senate majority.
Goodbye loser.

Black folks in Michigan don’t need @HaleyforMI showing up at ANY Black church. Her actions against @AbdulElSayed is BULLSHIT. She has inserted herself into the campaign just four days before Election Day. This is pure sabotage. @ClyburnSC06 @RepJamesClyburn doesn’t need her standing next to him. He can handle it!
On the eve of the eve of the eve of our BIG and important election, a unifying moment has arrived, our democratic nominee for U.S Senate disavows the Rebellion PAC ad made by Hasan Piker’s uncle that claims Jews are responsible for America’s economic woes. We have learned from party leaders and emissaries, as reported in the news media that he has.
On Sunday I will join with the Great Democratic leader, Jim Clyburn and Dr El Sayed for a church service in the beautiful city of Detroit.
The political coalition of Black and Jewish voices that have carried Michigan and this country through so many storms to the righteous path of liberal democracy and equal opportunity for all will ring out. Full statement here:
Despite all of her efforts and bitterness and, arguably, her Islamophobia, Haley Stevens will not distract us in the last hours of this election. Jewish people are not a monolith; Haley Stevens does not speak for all of them.
Michigan will be united for Abdul.

This is always who he's been. After Biden dropped out of the race in 2024, Abdul was one of the first voices in Michigan who endorsed Kamala Harris, despite very painful disagreements with the administration foreign policy. He's a mensch.

Can’t wait til after midterms to look at Google Trends to see how much the usage of the words “disavow” and “condemn” absolutely DROPS. 🫠

McMorrow: "First of all, I have no idea what the hell Haley Stevens is doing. This is a moment where we have to recognize the stakes."

.@AbdulElSayed is a fighter, and he’s offering something people haven’t felt from Washington in a long time: hope. He’ll fight to get big money out of politics, put more money in your pocket, and pass Medicare for All. Big money is loud, but it isn’t unbeatable—and we can prove it.

An epic statement demanding a fellow Dem candidate that has nothing to do with an ad that isn’t racist disavow and condemn the ad, and totally ignored the endless actual racist abuse the candidate has had to endure.
Does Stevens condemn Cruz saying AES joining the Intel Cttee would lead to American deaths? Does Stevens condemn Trump for saying AES should go through metal detectors? Does she condemn Mike Rogers, who her fiance is backing, for saying AES is a terrorist? Nope. Not a word in here about any of that.
Seriously, eff these centrist Dems who not only ignore Islamophobia but help normalize it.

Nobody cares what you think.
My biggest concern is that if there is a clean sweep by Democrats of the House, Senate and Presidency in 2028, they will:
1. Make DC and Puerto Rico states to gain a strong majority in the Senate.
2. Open the borders and legalize everyone living in America illegally to cement a permanent majority.
3. Increase the size of the Supreme Court to gain an immediate majority.
This would result in America becoming a permanent one-party state and the end of democracy in any meaningful sense of the word.
All that is needed to ensure this doesn’t happen is 51 Republican senators in 2029. That is why you should vote for Republican senators this election. Other reasons are irrelevant compared to this one.
Haley Stevens wants Abdul to condemn advertisements that he did not create and aren’t affiliated with his campaign. But she refused to disavow the AIPAC campaigns spewed lies and tricked Black voters into thinking that Abdul hated Michelle and Barack. She can fuck off.
