A mother was being dragged across a parking lot by an SUV while her two babies were still trapped inside. Then 15 strangers came running from every direction, surrounding the vehicle in a desperate attempt to stop it. It happened outside a DMV office in Jacksonville, Florida. A man had climbed behind the wheel of an SUV and was attempting to drive away with both children still in the back seat. Their mother was frantically trying to get them out when the driver accelerated, dragging her and one of her children through the parking lot. But the people nearby weren’t about to stand there and watch. More than a dozen strangers rushed toward the SUV, surrounding the vehicle as the mother struggled to free her babies. Together, they managed to get her and both children to safety before the driver sped away. And those strangers weren’t finished helping. Witnesses gave police the vehicle’s description and license plate number, helping officers track down and arrest the suspect later that same day. A terrifying situation that could have ended in tragedy became an extraordinary reminder of what happens when ordinary people refuse to look away. These heroes may have been strangers to that mother, but their courage helped bring her babies home safely. Let’s give them the recognition they deserve. 💙 – at Chicago, IL

🚨EXECUTED: Jeremy Williams, the man convicted of kidnapping, raping and murdering 5-year-old Kamarie Holland, has JUST been executed. This is what justice looks like. In December 2021, this animal paid Kamarie's mother $2,500 for access to her 5-year-old daughter. He took that innocent little girl to an abandoned house in Phenix City, assaulted her, filmed it, strangled her, and left her body under a tarp. A jury convicted him of four counts of capital murder — capital murder of a child under 14, during kidnapping, during rape, and during sodomy. Even his own last words couldn't hide his evil: "I want to thank God for forgiving me for my sins so I can meet him in peace. Goodnight." District Attorney Richard Chancey had the perfect response: "That baby didn't die in peace." Gov. Kay Ivey said it best: "The unspeakable nature of this crime is exactly why we have the death penalty statute." Williams WAIVED his appeals. He didn't want to look over his shoulder for 30 years on death row. He knew what happens to child killers in prison. Attorney General Steve Marshall confirmed Williams also confessed to killing his infant daughter in Alaska and raping other small children. For once, the system worked fast. No 20-year delay. No liberal judge blocking justice. A 2021 murder, a 2024 death sentence, a 2026 execution. One monster gone forever. One little angel finally at rest. This is why we fight for the death penalty.

Happy 20th anniversary to the craziest snowstorm to ever hit Buffalo! I remember watching the rain mix with wet snow on the afternoon of the 12th and thinking how crazy it was. I then watched as it slowly turned to wet snow, and then it started sticking to the ground! I didn't think it was possible to have substantial snowfall that early across the lower elevations of WNY, but here we were! The snowfall intensified throughout the afternoon into the evening hours and didn't stop until the next morning. I remember going for a walk with my family at the time to "take in" the devastation before our eyes. Power transformers and trees were snapping like toothpicks all over the area. It literally felt like a war zone. No other meteorological event that I've experienced has come close to the devastation of that night. We lost power for over 2 weeks and over 90% of the trees in the area were either damaged or completely destroyed. I put together a video of some of the damage from that day. Does anyone remember that storm? Share your story!

Art is Art. GREAT JOB.
I drew Dolly Parton today. ✏️🖤 Mom said, “Don’t post it on X—people will make fun of you because you’re a Black artist.” But I chose to share it anyway. Art has no color. ❤️ What do you think? Be honest. 🎨 Order now Custom Sketch 👇 sketchxstudioltd.com

Yes I Do Care. Columbus taken over the Native American land when he landed in American. So we Celebrate Both Days. They will never be forgotten.
So, a Trump supporter told me that, “nobody gives a sh*t” about Indigenous Peoples Day. Please, tell me, do you care about Indigenous Peoples Day?

What a beautiful woman who brilliantly sang and demonstrated to the world how being normal is the actual beauty of the world. And, how the real tragedy is that our hypocrisy and perception are the judgments that keep us divided. 🙏🌺🌎❤️🇺🇸🗽🫡

Glad she did what she did but in my opinion she didn't make herself ugly she made herself more beautiful. Sometimes women don't need makeup at all. The internal beauty shines brighter than anything.

Everyone is woke. You see Beauty is within.
She removed all her makeup and deliberately made herself look ugly in front of hundreds of celebrities to prove one thing. She showed us that makeup changes perceptions, not values!
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The attached video adds misleading overlays and cuts to unrelated or fabricated celebrity reactions; this is Alessia Cara's real 2017 VMAs performance of "Scars to Your Beautiful," where she removed stage makeup/glam to promote inner beauty and self-acceptance. billboard.com/music/music-ne… glamour.com/story/alessia-… x.com/ObiiOutLoud/st…

In 1995, doctors told a family to say goodbye. Brielle was fading fast. At barely two pounds, her oxygen was plummeting, her skin was turning blue, and every machine in the ICU screamed that her tiny heart was giving up. Then a nurse broke the rules. Ignoring hospital protocol that strictly separated premature twins, she trusted instinct over machinery. She gently picked up Brielle’s stronger sister, Kyrie, and laid her into the same incubator. Two fragile bodies, side by side, just as they had grown together in the womb. What happened next silenced the entire room. Within minutes, the alarms stopped. Brielle’s oxygen levels surged. Her frantic pulse steadied, her ragged breathing slowed, and the warmth flooded back into her skin. Then came the moment that brought veteran doctors to their knees: Kyrie slowly lifted her tiny, fragile arm and wrapped it entirely around her dying sister—anchoring her to this world. That single embrace didn’t just save a life. It shattered standard medical protocol forever, pioneering the practice of "co-bedding" twins across neonatal units worldwide. Science couldn’t save her that night. A sister’s touch did. Never underestimate the power of simply refusing to let go.

What a Courageous Man. He is definitely a Super Hero.
A 10-foot alligator grabbed a 73-year-old woman by the leg and dragged her 70 feet into a pond. Her neighbor jumped into the water to save her, but moments later, they were both pulled beneath the surface. Carol DeLillo was doing yardwork near her home in South Carolina when the massive alligator suddenly attacked, clamping its jaws around her leg and dragging her into the water. Nearby, Kenneth McCarter heard her cries for help. Without hesitation, he rushed into the pond and swam toward her. Kenneth managed to grab Carol, but as he struggled to pull her free, they were both dragged underwater. He still refused to let go. Fighting to keep Carol above the surface, Kenneth finally managed to pull her away from the alligator and toward shore, where his teenage son helped bring her to safety. Carol suffered devastating injuries and needed multiple surgeries, but she survived. Kenneth also made it out alive. Kenneth’s extraordinary courage deserves to be recognized. 💙

🚨BREAKING: Convicted child killer Kyle Bevan was brutally stabbed more than 30 times by fellow inmates in a savage 5-minute prison attack at HMP Wakefield — and was left for dead. Bevan was serving a life sentence for the horrific 2020 murder of two-year-old Lola James, whom he subjected to a savage assault causing catastrophic brain injuries and over 100 wounds. The brutal prison attack is being seen by many as raw "prison justice" for his crimes against an innocent toddler.
