If we take AI and blockchain, we could separate the two in such where:
AI is really capable of making something informal formal,
and blockchain is really good at recording promises and enforcing commitments which anyone can verify
Realistically where this makes the most sense is ____, and this will enable ____.

It’s quite horrible when you think about it.
My whole focus for the past few years has been for nothing.
There’s political turbulence, unresolved Hormuz, and long term bonds are printing new highs not seen since 2002.
And the altcoins used to dumping -80% are only down -10%.
Feels a bit overblown.
The short-term impact would most likely be spread out over a longer time frame. People getting comfortable around the fact that AI agents could be more responsible and savvier financial actors than themselves is a process which will take time.
Even today you don't see AI agents taking full autonomy over your finances, but rather over well-defined flows and conditions.
Atoms were named “uncuttable” by the old Greeks. The smallest and last unit that you could reach. The thing that made the physical world intelligible.
Payments never got that unit. Money still feels attached to a lot of conditions, and gets split across rails, institutions, and closed stacks. Money still seems cuttable.
