Sustainable procurement must also create opportunities for Ugandans.
The ED highlighted PPDA’s continued commitment to promoting local content and prioritising locally manufactured goods and services in public procurement.
He also informed suppliers about the opportunities available for women, youth and persons with disabilities to participate in and benefit from Government procurement.

🧵 PPDA DELIVERS ON PIM-PLUS!
1/ PPDA has successfully achieved its Year 1 Disbursement Linked Results (DLRs) under the $200M World Bank-funded #PIMPLUS Operation.
The achievement was recognised at the 2nd PIM-PLUS Operations Technical Committee Meeting at @mofpedU.
#PIMPLUS is a flagship reform under Government’s Public Finance Management Strategy, aimed at strengthening public investment & asset management and supporting implementation of NDP IV and Uganda’s Tenfold Growth Strategy.
