We need to pay more attention to the hanta virus infection aboard the cruise ship currently docked in C Islands. This is an RNA virus generally transmitted by aerosols of rat faeces. It has a latent period of 1-6 weeks before symptoms appear. This heightens the transmission risk.
Quite a nasty virus that rarely infects humans. Usually comes from close contacts with rats. I suspect someone was heavily infected and brought the infection on board this cruise liner.
