Absolutely untrue. We had a ball. If people hadn’t of left at the interval they would have had very different feedback. (The singing was awful- the kid didn’t care)

End of an era today- last lecture @UlsterUni before I start a new role @lborouniversity at the end of Jan. thanks to the lovely students & @DrAbbieCahoon who provided flowers, cards & cake! (Still in post till end of Jan though!).
A wonderful day at #norfest in #dublin. So delighted to hear about the AMAZING work going on at Irish research institutions in the #openresearch area. Challenging discussions on research security, academic freedom & openness. But good to think deeply about our practices.

As a @IronOverloadUK person I get my bloods done regularly. They check your DOB. Cue nurses and porter singing happy birthday- & I got a balloon! (My midwife sis says this is gen only for paediatrics- I’m clearly special). @NHSuk you are wonderful.
Heading home from an exceptionally busy @BPSDevSection conference @RoyalHolloway - my first as chair of the section. Thanks to everyone who came along- especially all the #ECRs making their first conference presentation.
