For any curious C developers, I'm currently working on implementing the XPath 3.1 standard built upon the libxml2 API. The project is in GNOME repo -> gitlab.gnome.org/mutantkeybo…
If anyone is interested to help/review, sending an idea, a PR, or giving general criticism, everyone's help is welcome. Keep in mind that this is still in very early stages of development, and API is constantly changing.
One more thing - I didn't anticipate agentic workflow, but if you think that adding the claude or codex rules wold help for anyone who is doing the vibe coding, let me know.

I'm starting with Xpath 2, 3 and 3.1 on libxml2 project as well as XSLT 2.0 as a separate project built on libxslt and API built around the libxml2
