🧡 MEET OUR SECOND PROJECT GAME-DEY HONOREE FOR THIS SUNDAY: PJ GRANDINETTE! 🐅 PJ has faced more in his young life than most people could imagine. Born with several serious medical conditions, he received a liver transplant at just 9 years old after fighting through life-threatening complications. Today, he continues that fight while preparing for a future kidney transplant. But PJ’s story isn’t defined by what he’s been through. It’s defined by how he’s lived through it. His family describes him as someone who lights up every room, charms everyone he meets, and can even convince the nurses at Cincinnati Children’s to keep the chocolate milk coming. 😂🥛 And PJ LOVES Cincinnati sports. Even during long hospital stays, he made sure he was watching the games until the final seconds. He’s saved his own money for replica helmets and footballs, talks Bengals with his friends and teachers, and has dreamed of getting to experience a home game. 🧡 MEET OUR NEXT PROJECT GAME-DEY HONOREE: AIDEN TEALL! 🐅🏈 This Sunday, we’re honored to welcome 13-year-old Aiden Teall as one of our Project Game-Dey honorees for Cincy vs. Jacksonville! Aiden was born prematurely at just 27 weeks and was given less than a 1% chance of survival after developing a life-threatening intestinal infection. Today, Aiden lives with quadriplegic cerebral palsy, epilepsy, short gut syndrome and other complex medical conditions. Through everything he has faced, his family describes him as one of the happiest and strongest people they know. And there’s one thing that brings Aiden and his entire family together: football in Cincinnati. 🧡 Aiden is nonverbal, but there’s absolutely no mistaking his excitement on Game-Dey. His family says his favorite thing is hearing everyone cheer. He laughs until he cries, makes his happiest noises and lights up alongside his siblings. This Sunday will be Aiden’s FIRST game inside the stadium. Before kickoff, we’ll be celebrating Aiden at our Project Game-Dey tailgate at @CincyLagerHouse beginning at 10 AM.
