Building cybersecurity for complex computing environments inevitably raises a tough question: how do you get tools developed by different partners, vendors, and teams to work together smoothly?
Instead of relying on proprietary integration hacks, INTACT combines open, industry-standard service orchestration with a streamlined DevSecOps integration model.

Getting security tools from different vendors to work together usually means building custom, fragile "glue code". When tools cannot communicate properly, visibility and control quickly become fragmented.

⚙️INTACT Horizon: The Orchestrated Twin Series
As part of the INTACT framework, virtualized Digital Twin Sandboxes are deployed on dedicated, isolated Kubernetes clusters.
These sandboxes mirror the exact network topologies, messaging flows, and protocol behaviours of real operational environments, such as 5G Core control planes, hospital PACS systems, or automotive CAN buses. The result?
Security teams can study protocol anomalies and evaluate complex countermeasures without putting live infrastructures at risk. There is no need to choose between realistic testing and operational safety.

Testing security tools on live systems in critical sectors is a non-starter. A false positive or an aggressive stress test could cause clinical downtime in a hospital, disrupt traffic signaling, or stall telecommunications.
INTACT project combines high-fidelity Digital Twin Sandboxing with open, standardized Service Orchestration. The key idea is simple: security tools should not have to operate in isolation from the infrastructures they are designed to protect.
