Things in Sage’s control: - Poor defensive shape early in the season (been fixed imo) - Free back post headers from set pieces (happened all last season and we have a set piece coach) Things no in Sage’s control: - Stupid red cards - Walter Benitez’s shot stopping - 3 or 4 windows of poor recruitment - Injuries to Henderson, Sarr and Mateta - Idiotic individual defensive errors

In the last 13-14 seasons I’ve rarely felt let down as a Palace fan. Sure we’ve lost games. Some odd decisions. But the whole feel good factor of Leipzig has been wiped out in a matter of months. I’ll be here week in week out, but my word, when its crap, it’s really crap.
