🏆 THE RACE FOR THE SWEDISH TITLE IS HEATING UP! With just 4 games remaining in the Allsvenskan season, the race to be crowned champions of Sweden 🇸🇪 is going right down to the wire! 🔥⚽ We've been keeping a close eye on IK Sirius, the surprise package of Swedish football this season, following a remarkable start to their campaign. The Uppsala-based club recorded an incredible 13 wins and 3 draws in their opening 16 matches, establishing an astonishing 11-point lead at the top of the table! 🤯 To put their achievements into perspective, Sirius have never finished higher than seventh in the Allsvenskan, let alone lifted the Swedish top-flight title in their 119-year history! However, their form has taken a dip since the departure of their leading goalscorer, young Scottish striker Robbie Ure, who joined Spanish giants Sevilla back in August. That downturn has allowed the chasing pack to close the gap, and last night's result has blown the title race wide open! 👀 ⚽ HAMMARBY 2–0 IK SIRIUS Second-placed Hammarby secured a huge victory on home soil, cutting Sirius' lead at the summit to just 3 points with 4 games remaining! And there's plenty more drama to come! Stockholm-based Hammarby are chasing their first Swedish league title in 25 years, although on paper they appear to have the tougher run-in. Sirius, meanwhile, still have a potentially decisive home clash against third-placed Djurgården, who are just six points off the top and firmly in the title conversation themselves! And here's where things get even more interesting... 👀 Djurgården are fierce Stockholm rivals of Hammarby, with the two clubs even sharing the same stadium. With both sides still dreaming of lifting the trophy, there could be some fascinating twists and turns before the season is over! 🏆 ALLSVENSKAN TITLE RACE — 4 GAMES TO GO 🥇 IK Sirius — 55 points 🥈 Hammarby — 52 points 🥉 Djurgården — 49 points 4️⃣ BK Häcken — 46 points Can Sirius hold their nerve and complete one of the most remarkable title triumphs in Swedish football history? Or will one of the Stockholm giants come storming through to snatch the crown? 👑 After Mjällby's extraordinary success last season, could Swedish football be about to witness another incredible underdog story? 🇸🇪 One thing's for certain: the final four games promise to be absolutely fascinating! 🍿🔥 💬 Who do you think will be crowned Swedish champions? #Allsvenskan #SwedishFootball #IKSirius #Hammarby #Djurgården #ProperFootball @siriusfotboll @Hammarby @DIF_Fotboll

Newly promoted Frosinone are taking Série A by storm! They sit 6th after 9 games, winning 5 of their league games and only losing 2 so far. A 3-0 away win to Fiorentina back in August, a 2-0 win at home to Como + wins against Sassuolo and Venezia so far + tonight a 5-1 hammering of Leece. They even managed a 4-4 draw away to Atalanta at the weekend! Frosinone now also have the leagues top goalscorer in Antonio Raimondo who has 8 goals in 9 league games. They are managed by Massimiliano Alvini and the newly promoted side have taken to Série A with an aggressive, high-pressing 4-2-3-1 tactical approach. The side are situated 73km south of Rome A side to watch who are fearless! 👏🏻 #Frosinone #Frosinonecalcio #noisiamoilfrosinone #SerieA #Italy #Italian #italia #football #Europe

We believe this will resonate with supporters of many Premier League clubs who have had enough and have even stopped going. Disgruntled Crystal Palace fans have announced a pre-match protest ahead of their Premier League game against Liverpool on Sunday 8 November. The Palace fans' protest is not about results or performances on the pitch. It is about the club's current strategy, which prioritises tourists & short-term profits over loyal, match-going fans. There is a growing disconnect between the club & its supporters. The fans are the backbone of the football club, & they do not accept the current direction that the club is taking, selling its soul in the process. Should we at any point find ourselves in the second tier of English football, the club will regret prioritising tourists over a sustainable plan to grow the Crystal Palace fanbase with South Londoners. WHY THEY ARE PROTESTING. TICKETS Match tickets costing up to £70 are pricing out local supporters, particularly young South Londoners. Additional charges, including £50 to share a season ticket, put profit before loyalty. MATCHDAY EXPERIENCE Selhurst Park is losing its identity. Loud commercial music, club-funded displays, pyrotechnics and manufactured entertainment are replacing the authentic atmosphere created by supporters. RESTRICTIONS. The club continues to restrict fan-funded banners & displays, while refusing requests to allow supporters to create their own atmosphere without music drowning them out. RAIL SEATING. Eight years after the club backed safe standing, there is still no rail seating in the home areas of Selhurst Park, preventing the growth of a sustainable singing section. DEMANDING CHANGE. Despite the club enjoying its most successful period, many supporters feel increasingly disconnected from Crystal Palace. We want affordable football, a vibrant Selhurst Park, safe standing, freedom to support our team and a long-term strategy that puts South Londoners first. This is not Crystal Palace. We are a fanbase who have historically created our own atmosphere. The club has lost sight of what made us special in the English game, of what our unique selling point was, & the club has destroyed it. THE FANS ARE THE CLUB. * Speaking as a Palace fan myself, over the last ten years, I've slowly fallen out of love with football — or, more accurately, what the Premier League has become and have been getting a proper football fix by going to non-league. My love for Palace has never wavered, but I have to admit that loyalty & emotional connection have been severely tested. The last two seasons gave me renewed hope. For a while, it felt as though the passion, excitement & belief had returned. But looking back, perhaps those moments of joy merely papered over the cracks in what has become an increasingly strained relationship. To witness Palace finally lift silverware was a dream come true, and that's what makes the current situation so difficult to comprehend. We should be on top of the world. Yes, performances on the pitch haven't been great lately, but football has always been about more than results. It's about belonging, identity, community and that unbreakable bond between a club and its supporters. Yet, instead of riding the crest of a wave after one of the greatest periods in our club's history, so many supporters seem to feel disconnected, disenfranchised and increasingly alienated from the very club they've devoted so much of their lives to. That should be setting alarm bells ringing. Because when supporters who have stood by their club through decades of disappointment, heartbreak and adversity begin to question their connection to it, something is fundamentally wrong. The saddest part isn't that we're struggling on the pitch. It's that, even after finally achieving everything we once dreamed of, something about the club we love no longer feels quite the same. #CPFC  #CrystalPalace #PremierLeague @HLTCO @soberich

The highly controversial and dislikable character that is James McClean has had his contract terminated at Derry City after comments on men's mental health. And quite honestly, good! A bloke with a dark past and disgusting views and now having a pop at his brother of all people about discussing his mental health. It all happened in an interview with the Sunday Independent, McClean mentioned overhearing his brother speaking with Derry City's club psychologist and James went on to comment on mens mental health. Derry initially distanced themselves from the comments but have now got rid of him, bringing to an end what was meant to be a happy reunion at Derry City. Oh well, never mind. Let's hope he crawls back under the rock he came out of now! Absolutely no time whatsoever for him. 👎🏻 #JamesMcClean #derry #derrycity #Ireland #irishpremier #NorthernIreland #football

Following tonight's results, the draw for the Quarter final of the Carabao Cup has been completed 🏆⚽️ Fleetwood Town once again welcome Premier league opposition to Highbury as Everton or Newcastle make the trip (those two play tomorrow night) Bradford Citys reward for seeing off Peterborough is a trip to Manchester City who scraped past Brighton on penalties. Liverpool who beat Chelsea on penalties welcome Bournemouth which is no easy task And Crystal Palace v Sunderland completes the draw. Both sides are in the Europa League but one will also be in the semi final of the Carabao Cup. Your thoughts? #Carabao #CarabaoCup #EPL #EFL #Football

Carlisle pulled off a brilliant result tonight! The Cumbrians led 1-0 against 2nd placed Harrogate Town before being reduced to NINE MEN after 30 minutes! The odds would have been stacked on Harrogate turning things around given their two player advantage and 60 minutes to play but Carlisle were having none of it! Not only did they keep a clean sheet with their 9 men, they scored two more goals! To comfortably win 3-0. What a remarkable effort and the celebrations on the photos below says it all! Congratulations to The Cumbrians. 🔵⚪️🔵⚪️ #Carlisle #carlisleunited #CUFC #Cumbrians #Cumbria #football #NationalLeague #nonleaguefootball #nonleague #Harrogate #Harrogateunited

So Arsenal players FLEW to Blackpool and drove two empty coaches up to pick them up from the airport and drove the 11 miles to Fleetwoods Highbury stadium. The same idiotic football clubs will be telling fans how they should travel to grounds in an environmentally friendly way though.. And we've still got Sky Sports "green weekend" to look forward to where they tell fans what to do and shove the nonsense down our throats. Once again, the hypocrisy in football and double standards is rife. Not a pop at Arsenal either, they are one of many clubs doing it.

It was a brutal night for Espanyol manager Manolo González! He saw his side get dumped out of the Copa Del Rey by 4th tier Sestao River before being sacked immediately afterwards! In the Espanyol hierarchys defence, we imagine this was the final straw as the side are currently struggling in La Liga, they sit 18th and have only won 2 of their 11 games played. Although, he has been in charge since March 2024 and did gain promotion that season with the club, winning the playoffs against Real Oviedo. Last season, they narrowly survived in La Liga but this season it took a turn, albeit still very early on in the campaign. 1 hour after their cup defeat, he was gone. #Espanyol #EspanyoldeBarcelona #football #LaLiga #espania #spain #CopaDelRey

Another good result for Leicester City tonight against Wigan Athletic and maybe Russell Martin is starting to prove his doubters wrong, the foxes have now won 3 of their last 4 games scoring 10 goals in the process. They are now only 3 points off the playoffs and momentum definitely seems like it has shifted. Leicester fans, how are you feeling about thins, optimistic your club are going to move in the right direction this season now or simply false hope and still not convinced? #Leicester #LeicesterCity #LCFC #Football #EFL #leagueone #Football #RussellMartin

A wonderful night for League Two Fleetwood Town who have beaten champions Arsenal in the Carabao Cup! 👏🏻👏🏻 what an incredible result and night for the Cod Army! Fleetwood who are 18th in League Two didn't let that phase them as the champions came to town! They held Arsenal 1 1 after being 1-0 up and then had a perfect penalty shootout to send the Premier league champions packing! The players, fans, and managers reaction at the end says everything we love about football. Fleetwood now progress through to the QUARTER FINAL of the Carabao Cup. Cup football eh! Love it! 😍🏆 Video 📹 credit goes to @Laythy29 on X #CarabaoCup #Leaguecup #Fleetwood #Fleetwoodtown #Arsenal #Arsenalfc #EFL #football #RoadToWembley

Burnley have sacked manager Nicky Hayen following a 4-1 defeat to newly promoted Lincoln City which leaves the Clarets 22nd and in the relegation places. Burnley have won just ONE of their 12 league games this season! A 4-0 away win to Watford which maybe some fans thought was the turning point But since then, they have lost to Wolves and today Lincoln + a draw to Charlton. Hayen who is from Belgium has managed mostly in his home country but did have a spell at Haverfordwest! In wales.. (We are saying nothing) Thought's Burnley fans? #Burnley #burnleyfc #clarets #football #EFL #Championship #football #Lancashire

The FA Cup TV selections have been confirmed for the 1st round! 📺 many of the lower league sides facing EFL sides at home are on tv which is great to see. @WimborneTownFC facing struggling League Two Crawley Town at home. @SRFCofficial who hammered National League side Gateshead have the cameras for their home game with Grimsby Town. @OxCityFC welcome Leicester City which has also been chosen for TV. @OfficialWands also have a huge day as they welcome Stockport County in front of the TV cameras. It is also great to see two Southern Premier League South clubs face one another as @PlymouthPFC welcome @BerkoFC and it's been picked for TV. Albeit a brutal trip on a Monday for Berko fans. Shame only two of the games are on free to air terrestrial TV however. #FACup #𝗙𝗔𝗖𝘂𝗽 #EmiratesFACup #firstround #football #MagicOfTheCup #RoadToWembley #nonleaguefootball #nonleague #EFL

Bromley have sacked manager Andy Woodman after over 5 years at the club, he was English football's 3rd longest serving manager. The Ravens are currently 2nd bottom after 10 league games and lost 4-0 to Leicester City midweek but regardless of that, this seems incredibly harsh given all he has achieved with the club. They won their first ever trophy back in 2021 / 22 when they won the FA Trophy at Wembley against Wrexham. Then in 2024, he earned them promotion to the football league for the first time in their 132 year history. They then survived and if that wasn't good enough, last year earned promotion AGAIN and now play in league one. Naturally, you are going to find your level and have bumps in the road and we do wonder if this one will come back to bite Bromley. Good luck to Andy Woodman moving forward, clearly a very good manager. Be interesting to know Bromley fans thoughts. #Bromley #bromleyfc #football #Ravens #leaguetwo #EFL #AndyWoodman

Crystal Palace fans enjoying themselves out in Istanbul last night ahead of facing Besiktas later. The song goes like this - to the tune of Billy Ocean’s "Love Really Hurts Without You" "Timber, we're going to Frankfurt with you, with Pino and Strand Larsen too, and we're on the charge with Pierre Sage." 👏🏻👏🏻 🦅 Video 📹 credit goes to @J_CPFC on X 🤝 #CPFC #crystalpalace #palace #Istanbul #besiktas #football #UEL #EuropaLeague

👏🏼 A MASSIVE shout-out to Jersey Bulls FC! 👏🏼 The Bulls are unbeaten in the Isthmian League South Central Division (Step 4) after 12 league games this season! But what's even more impressive is that last night's 1-0 home win over Moneyfields extended their unbeaten league run to an incredible 31 MATCHES in regular time, stretching all the way back to 30th December 2025! 🔥⚽ And here's where it gets even more interesting... The Bulls have actually achieved this before! During the 2019/20 season, the Bulls inaugural campaign in the English football pyramid, Jersey won ALL 27 league matches before the season was cut short and declared void due to the pandemic. They then won their opening 4 league games of the 2020/21 season, taking their winning streak to an incredible 31 matches before that season was also abandoned! Unfortunately, because both seasons were declared void, we believe that previous 31-match run doesn't count towards the official club record. 🏆 BUT HISTORY COULD BE MADE THIS SATURDAY! Jersey Bulls travel to Hendon knowing that if they avoid defeat, they will extend their current unbeaten run to 32 CONSECUTIVE LEAGUE MATCHES and, we believe, set a new official club record! What an absolutely outstanding achievement this would be! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 COME ON YOU BULLS! 🐂⚽ #Jersey #JerseyBulls #IsthmianLeague #nonleague #nonleaguefootball @JerseyBullsFC

What an historic night for Cray Wanderers in the FA Cup! The Wands, who are based in South East London, play in the seventh tier of the football pyramid in the Isthmian League Premier Division, are recognised as the oldest football club in London and one of the oldest in the world, having been established in 1860, but they have never reached the first round of the FA Cup... Well, they have now! Tonight they beat National League South side Bedford Town 4-3 on penalties after the game finished 2-2 AET! Cray Wanderers will now host League One leaders Stockport County in the first round of the FA Cup! What a story! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 @OfficialWands #FACup #isthmian_league_premier_division #IsthmianLeague #Nonleague #stockport #stockportcounty
