KEEP THE PRESSURE ON SONY!
In a recent Kotaku interview NIS CEO Saruhashi says that Sony "is hearing a lot of feedback from players" and that things might not be as set in stone as parts of the industry want you to believe regarding the future of physical media.

MASSIVE, IF TRUE!
@mooreslawisdead claims a survey from Sony to developers is making the rounds asking for feedback about killing discs. If this is true, devs now have a chance to change things for the better. Let's hope enough are on our side.

Dear @Xbox, I haven't received this poll but if you put a disc drive AND make games come complete on disc (as opposed to disc downloaders), you will have many of us in the bag.
Get another easy and big win over @PlayStation.
EXCLUSIVE:
Microsoft is asking fans whether they want the next-generation Xbox to support physical media, Power Up Gaming understands.
A survey that has recently gone live on the Xbox Insider Hub app suggests that the company has yet to decide if the next Xbox will have a disc drive. Images showing portions of the survey can be seen below.

This picture of Shuhei Yoshida and Adam Boyes from Tokyo Game Show is making the rounds. Seemingly mocking current anti-consumer PlayStation for killing the philosophy behind their once famous pro-consumer mockery of Xbox regarding physical game sharing.

"Physical revenues jumped 25.9%, powered by 17.7% vinyl growth and a 58.6% increase in CDs"
Everyone still spreading the "nobody buys physical" lie is either blind or acting in bad faith to defend lying corpos like Sony. No other way about it.
