PSLF stats: $150 million was forgiven in the past 12 months. The year before that, only $50 million was forgiven. So we've seen the amount forgiven triple in just 1 year. We'll continue to see exponential growth. I expect $500 million forgiven between June 2020 and June 2021.

Seriously, if you have recent experience with the #PublicServiceLoanForgiveness program please help; I keep getting denied. Any info on how to pay off private loans esp ones w variable interest rates- hit me up! I’m done feeling intimidated by these 🦈

After 4 years of fighting FedLoan has finally given me the PSLF credit their computer glitch denied! I’m over the moon that by my 37th birthday after 10 years of service to the State of Florida I’ll have a zero net worth! #MillennialGoals #PublicServiceLoanForgiveness

Here's your #PSLF tip for the day. Did you know that pre-tax contributions (ex. 401K) lower your AGI, which lowers your monthly student loan payment on income-driven repayment (IDR) plans. Contribute more to your retirement and lower your student loan payment. Win win!

We are still not getting clear answers here, so let’s try again. For the extended suspension period of 10/1/2020 to 12/31/2020 - will those three months still count towards PSLF, IDR forgiveness, and rehabs as though payments were being made?

Hi Joe! Yes, this is related to the EO that President Trump signed on August 8th. @FAFSA just announced (on their FAQs) the suspended period months would count towards #PSLF. Great news! Here's the link: studentaid.gov/announcements…

I did a deep dive into how the order was written this past Monday (source: am lawyer). Assuming the Sec Ed follows the Order, payments that are already suspended will not resume till 2021. No answer on quals for PSLF.
