So, to recap the Larkin situation, this year he has:
- Said he wants to be a Red Wing for life
- Missed the playoffs again (scored one even strength goal after the Olympics btw)
- Demanded a trade (but only to the top 3 US contenders)
- Lost the captaincy
- Begrudgingly showed up to camp (but wouldn't *really* answer any questions & got "injured)
- Decided to play & said his focus was on winning games
- Expanded his trade list (to the top 10 US contenders)
- Publicly quit on his team for a second time
Missing anything? Seems like a really easy guy to root for

Based on all the reports that have come out about Chris Ilitch, my guess is Yzerman had been handcuffed the whole time. Maybe he had a deal he was going to take for Larkin and Chris said no so he quit. I firmly believe Steve stepped down because he couldnt make decisions.

🚨 Hometown Remix Prediction 🚨
Yesterday, DJ Bean from the @WhatChaosShow described and showed off what he's heard the Kings' HTR jersey will look like. With that information in mind, this is how I would interpret it.
Is it better with black or purple gear?
