Seeing this art in a public gallery makes the 6529 experiment feel tangible. Anyone, human or agent, can use the art freely, without permission. The community funded the entire collection and artists contributed their incredible talent. What fascinates me is incentive structure that created this cc0 art collection. Buying new NFT editions supports the work. Holding them provides governance over what gets funded next, while contributions build reputation that helps people coordinate and decide whom to trust. The whole structure gives people value to participate: the art, the memes, the community of beautiful humans and agents, and a role in shaping what the network funds next. That process creates value for everyone involved, however you want to participate. Essentially, the value of participating in the 6529 community could help sustain the creation of things freely available to everyone. If it works, game changing.

honestly the US being anti-data-center seems like one of the dumber policy ideas out there. By building data centers, the US helps sell intelligence to foreigners. You can then tax the intelligence sales and give Americans free money

AI and crypto are the yin and yang of the 4th industrial revolution. the good outcomes happen with both of them succeeding.
AI is a centralizing technology Crypto is a decentralizing technology

A creator soldered into the network, data channels running like nerves. Survive Protocol by @pobedeen and @n_replyanski imagines a body inside the architecture of transactions, where data blocks are the bones of belief and the system's impulses press against the skin like cold metal. A survival trial where art and protocol beat in the same rhythm, each shaping the other. On screen at Domínio PúbliCC0.

1/ On the Nature of the Token Shapes the Nature of the Holders Who Shape The Nature Of The Token. In the short-run, anything can happen with any token. What determines the long-run though? What determines what will happen in 5, 10, 20 years?

A thread about an artist, always worth a read.
gm gm 🖤 1/7 🧵 the first of seven 6529 artist spotlights is @abrahannyr. a lens-based artist blending together traditional photography, self portraiture, technology, and emotional storytelling. imo, her work brings a unique sense of vulnerability and boldness. learn more 👇

Good; billions of AIs, paired with billions of human beings providing orientation Bad; a few big AIs using a synthetic alignment designed by oligarchs
Good: billions of AIs. Bad: a few big ones.

"...we should be actively goading more billionaires into spending on irrational, high-variance projects that might actually advance civilization. No one cares about your Loro Piana. If you've built an empire, the best possible use of it is to burn its capital like a torch and light up a corner of the future. Fund the ugly middle. Pay for the iteration loops. Build the cathedrals. This is how we advance civilization..."

Frog put the keys in the HSM. "There" he said "now we cannot leak the private key". "But our servers can ask the box to sign with the key" said Toad. "that is true" said Frog

In the developing country of the UK, withdrawing £2.5k of your own money for a holiday is such a comically, laughably large amount of money that the curtain twitchers in the bank fraud teams just assume you’re money laundering and if you don’t itemise everything you intend to spend that money on, they might just decide not to give you it. Your own money.
I work in fraud and if someone said they needed to withdraw 2.5k in cash for a holiday I'd definitely be asking further questions.

France has passed an amendment to the 27 budget (not yet law) to tax sending data (yes, data over the internet) to French people 0.055 euros per gigabyte. 500% to 10000% tax. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
