A caseworker told Hilton they were ordered to ignore obviously fake IDs and get the kids out the door as fast as possible.
Their directive was “Speed over safety.” If something happens to the kids, so be it.
One girl was put on a plane, handed off to three strange men, and forced to work 20 hours a day.

The kids were given a hotline to call if they were in danger. The problem was getting anyone to answer.

What we are witnessing in Brazil is the biggest political backfire in modern political history.

7 months later, 7 armed robberies,
Kyeme Hunter, 19, and Jaiden Bethea, 19, are charged in 7 armed robberies across Philadelphia.
5 were in about 90 minutes before dawn on Oct. 4.
A man waiting for an Uber outside the Four Seasons was knocked down and held at gunpoint.
On Oct. 6, a 61 year old woman was robbed near the Art Museum.
Police say they used guns with lasers and an Accord stolen from New Jersey.
At Bethea's home, police found a 9mm with the serial number scratched off, a ghost gun, over $11,000 cash and a car-theft key programmer.
Court records show Hunter pleaded guilty in March 2026 to carrying a gun without a license.
His sentence was probation.
No jail.
Police say Bethea has no record.
Bail is $1.05 million each.
Police are still looking for a third suspect.
Probation for a gun charge.
Then he allegedly came back with a laser sight.

I call BS.
She just sees all of these consequences coming at her.

It’s Getting Real: DOJ Issues Criminal Subpoenas for CA Election Officials
California and Los Angeles County election officials flatly refused to sequester ballots from roughly 20,000 people the DOJ flagged as likely noncitizens.
Now the Justice Department has escalated with criminal grand jury subpoenas to local election officials across the state, demanding records on screening methods, communications, and evidence of noncitizen voting.
Federal law makes noncitizen voting in federal elections a crime. One illegal ballot cancels out the vote of a law-abiding American citizen.
California is choosing to ignore the list and count the ballots anyway. A federal judge denied the DOJ’s request to force sequestration, but the criminal investigation is moving forward.
Election integrity isn’t optional. American votes must count, and only American votes.

Bill Essayli leaves a California ballot hearing only to be hit with a judge’s ruling that he’s “unlawfully” serving as U.S. Attorney.
After nearly three hours in an emergency hearing on how to handle mail ballots from roughly 20,000 “likely noncitizens” on California’s voter rolls, First Assistant U.S. Attorney Bill Essayli walked out and was immediately approached by LA Times reporter Brittny Mejia.
She informed him that a federal judge had just ruled he is unlawfully serving as a “de facto” United States Attorney.
Senior U.S. District Judge J. Michael Seabright (a Bush appointee) ordered Essayli disqualified from participating in or supervising two criminal cases, concluding the DOJ’s arrangement, naming him a special attorney and first assistant after his interim appointment expired, still gave him the sweeping powers of the vacant U.S. Attorney position without Senate confirmation.
The judge relied on the 9th Circuit’s earlier decision in the similar Nevada case involving Sigal Chattah.
The disqualification is stayed for now while the government seeks a full stay pending appeal.
Essayli’s response: “We respectfully disagree with the court’s order.
The President and the Attorney General have every right to select supervisors within the Justice Department.
Importantly, today’s order is automatically stayed… Ultimately, this question will be decided by the Supreme Court, and I look forward to serving in my current role until then.” He has said the same to reporters on the ground.
This is the latest round in the legal fight over Trump-era interim appointments that bypass the Senate. Essayli, a former
California assemblyman and former AUSA who worked on the San Bernardino terror case, has been leading high-profile DOJ work in the Central District, including the push to segregate those noncitizen-linked ballots before they are counted.
The timing is hard to ignore: the same day a prosecutor focused on election integrity is told a judge has ruled he can’t lawfully run the office.
The DOJ has already taken the related Nevada case to the Supreme Court. Expect this one to follow.
