I've been wondering how Jev is powering computer use, since it doesn't support image inputs. Turns out: you can use accessibility features in operating systems originally targeted at screen readers for blind and low-vision users which output UI state as text!
Another example of the curb-cut effect, "the phenomenon of disability-friendly features being used and appreciated by a larger group than the people they were designed for" en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Curb_c…
Never thought I’d be celebrating a JavaScript runtime, but these guys are delightful. Congrats @bunjavascript on a successful 1.4!

Lots of companies pursuing computers for agents. Very exciting time to see how best to remotely control long-running agents. @bot looks like a really strong implementation.
Growing up in Canada, I can speak Mandarin but never learned to read properly. Language apps assume you start from scratch and have never worked for me.
Finally vibe-coded this app which meets me exactly at this unusually imbalanced skill level.
It's especially useful for double checking what I am typing in pinyin, since Chinese has many characters which sound the same but could mean something very different.
Hosting it on @another_comp with data saved in SQLite. Happy to open source or open prompt the README if anyone's interested.
Ok I guess this is the motivation I needed to finally get off Airtable and roll sqlite raw on @another_comp
