It’s been a dream of mine to build a cabin in our cardamom estate in munnar, kerala.
I had a specific vision of a cozy space using reclaimed wood and stones from the estate where you want to just relax and i think we achieved it!

Had a lot of fun animating our new Grok Bot icon. It's entirely made in code, with every state, shape and expression able to morph smoothly into the other. And of course, I made it with Grok Build.

I was down with chickenpox recently which meant 10 days in isolation. One of my stalled projects that I got done was a science fiction short story at the intersection of the singularity, bangalore nostalgia, indian culture, patriotism and hindu mythology.

We had this long-standing papercut at Linear where the menu items overflow their outer container.
It was hard to fix, or so I thought, because the structure is pretty complicated given all the design details, so a simple overflow: hidden wouldn’t work as it would break the animation.
But today I had an epiphany that we could just use a simple CSS mask and fade the items out.
Here’s a before & after with a zoom on the problem, look at the left edge:

9 months later, the day has finally come.
Today I am finally putting it live on Product Hunt: NextDoor.Company - find hand-curated top-tier startups hiring nearby you.
I launched NextDoor.Company as a solopreneur last year when I quit my $15,000 monthly salary job to build something that I can be proud of and run as a lifestyle business.
This one has felt like giving birth. Long nights, endless iteration, perfecting every user interaction, messaging thousands of paid users manually and learning from their experience, and hand curating hundreds of startups one by one.
If you've enjoyed watching me build, I'd love your support today. Help me spread the word by reposting this and upvoting the product on Product hunt by going here: producthunt.com/products/nex…
And yes, to celebrate the launch, the lifetime plan on NextDoor.Company is going to be flat ~42% OFF for the rest of the week.
You'll find the discount code in the PH page. Use it during checkout.

I spent some time this week playing around with Decoy Font. It's a complete TTF font file where every real letter is hidden behind a decoy letter so that AI has a hard time reading the real message.
Tested it in ChatGPT and it can't figure it out.
ALT Binge shows or sleep early?
ALT Day dream or pay bills?
ALT Order pizza or drink water?
ALT ChatGPT has a hard time reading Decoy Font
