It’s happening… ethereum:0x4a220e6096b25eadb88358cb44068a3248254675 shorts who entered late around the $218 area and below are underwater now. That massive spike you can see on the candle my white dotted lines have highlighted is exactly where OI absolutely pumped with Futures CVD (third candle chart down) diving. Shorts absolutely diving into trades. On top of this the Spot CVD (second candle chart down) just made a new higher low. Aka, bullish divergence again. Nothing is certain. Shorts could still drag price down and win if Spot selling continues. But the short squeeze scenario just got much more promising!! Now… if Spot can push price higher and simply trigger the first of the shorts covering, that could trigger the entire cascade with some wild candles. Where will it go if it does squeeze? Targets are hard to guess, but a great indication is watching OI and Futures CVD. If OI resets to around that 160K level while Futures CVD pumps (covering… which we are already seeing a little of) that could signal the fuel has run out, wherever price lands. But with funding growing more negative by the hour, those short positions get more expensive. And as they cover, it’s only a matter of time until the stubborn shorts are liquidated. The short squeeze looks better and better by the hour. 🚀
