Below you will find my write-up as an independent after action report for the issue impacting Cardano late last week, along with things I learned, why I was impressed, and what I think we can do better at in the future.
I try to strike the balance between confronting the seriousness of the issue, while defusing most of the over-stated positions from talking heads on Twitter. This is an adult conversation, not whatever the children are engaging in on Twitter this week.
I don't think it's productive to get into debates of what constitutes "downtime" or not; Instead, I tried to equip you with a framework where you, dear reader, can think about these things for yourself, and decide what you want to call it.
I just ask that you make that decision for yourself, or allow your audience to do so, rather than parroting some pre-decided talking points.
More informed discussion leads to a higher quality industry overall.

When you mistake novelty for creativity:
Of course it can. Take all 100,000+ games on steam, scrape their descriptions and metadata, semantically plot them in vector space using embeddings, mathematically choose a location in vector space far away from neighbors, convert that back to a description and metadata, boom, brand new ideas ranked by how unlike any other ideas they are.
Sundae v4's central premise is flexibility and composition. We've been working since February towards that idea.
It's fortunate timing that the thing AlphaGrowth needs to attract new projects to Cardano is a DEX partner that can compose and adapt with those partners.

We have been hinting at it for awhile, but today is day.
We have officially released v2 of the SteelSwap API and swap engine.
The biggest news: We support @SundaeSwap V4 and @realfi_co
We have made our API available to partners, and you will be able to swap through partner interfaces as early as today.
The new v2 UI will be released within the next few weeks.
We calculated roughly 2 trillion blake2b hashes to find this seed to set the Sundae v4 pool contract address:

We're doing a phased roll-out to ensure everything goes smoothly;
For now, just two pools are live:
A USDCx / USDrf Linear Swap that allows you to swap for @realfi_co's stablecoin, also launching today. As a Linear Swap, there is no slippage, just a flat, predictable fee.
And a USDrf / sUSDrf stableswap, to exchange USDrf for the staked version.
If you want to see Sundae v4's atomic routing in action, you can swap USDCx directly for sUSDrf (or vice versa) and it will chain across pools in the same transaction.
