At 3:00 AM, I woke up with an unexplained urge to pray for a friend I hadn’t seen in years.
I fought the sleep and prayed for an hour. I texted her the next day. She replied: “last night at 3 AM, I almost ended my life. Suddenly, a wave of peace hit me.”
Never ignore a Holy prompting.

Replying to @Questherner
Conscience is one of God's greatest gifts. Even when nobody is watching, it reminds us of the difference between right and wrong. Never silence that inner voice.

As the day draws to an end, Lord, our hearts are filled with gratitude. Thank You for carrying us through another day.
Let us pray. 🙏🏽
Heavenly Father,
As the sun sets and another day comes to an end, we return to You with grateful hearts. Thank You for the gift of life, for the breath in our lungs, for the strength to carry on, and for the countless ways You have kept us, even in moments when we were unaware of Your protection.
Lord, we acknowledge that we did not make it this far by our own strength, wisdom or righteousness. It is Your mercy that has sustained us. For every battle You fought on our behalf, every danger You kept us from, every provision You made, every door You opened and every prayer You answered, receive all the glory.
Father, for those whose expectations were not met today, give them the grace to trust Your timing. For those who received difficult news, be their comfort. For those carrying silent burdens, give them peace. For those who are tired, renew their strength. And for those who are still waiting for an answer, remind them that Your silence is not abandonment and Your promises never fail.
Lord, forgive us for the ways we may have fallen short today. Purify our hearts, correct our steps and help us become better reflections of Christ. May we never become so occupied with the blessings we seek that we forget the God who gives them.
As we retire tonight, let Your presence fill our homes. Grant us peaceful rest, protect our families and loved ones, preserve those travelling, remember those in hospitals and comfort those who have no one to call upon.
And Father, as we close this day, let our testimonies not end here. May tomorrow bring fresh mercies, renewed strength, divine opportunities and reasons to praise Your holy name.
Above all, Lord, let our lives continue to bring glory to You. May we never be the reason someone loses faith in You, but instruments through which someone encounters Your love.
Thank You, Lord, for today. Thank You for yesterday. Thank You for tomorrow, which is already in Your hands.
We sleep in Your promises, rest in Your faithfulness and put our expectations in You alone.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Amen. 🙏🏽
