October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month! Mornings like this one in Garfield Park matter so much because breast cancer has touched so many lives. Getting people together, talking about early detection, and making sure folks know we’re standing with them is so important.

Our community is lucky to have a fighter like Rep. Quigley!
The original sin of our country was slavery, and its legacy took shape in Chicago through segregation, redlining and restrictive covenants. Black families were shut out of neighborhoods, denied loans to buy homes, and pushed into predatory deals that stripped away their savings🧵
As mayor, I commit to building 50,000 new homes that Chicagoans can actually afford, with a particular focus on investing in the South and West Sides so current residents can afford to stay and folks who moved away can return to the communities they love.
Umm…me!!! Progressive before that was a label, reformer through and through, real plans and no BS. Head to q4chi.com to check it out and join us.

Happy Open House Chicago! OHC’s map is a great proof point that when we’re inviting people to Chicago, it shouldn’t just be to the downtown. Every neighborhood is full of beauty and culture, and is worth visiting!
On Indigenous Peoples’ Day, we honor the cultures and contributions of Native Americans and Indigenous Peoples everywhere. Here in Chicago, Indigenous history is woven into our land, waterways and native plants. Today, we celebrate that legacy and continue the fight for justice.
