Hello friends and fellow #Jaws enthusiasts, The Daily Jaws was kind enough to ask me to write a fan review for the #Jaws inspired play The Shark is Broken which recently made its North American debut. If youโ€™re interested and feel so inclined, go ahead and have a read. Cheers! ๐Ÿฆˆ

Review: #TheSharkIsBroken โญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธ "...in equal parts hilarious and poignant, The Shark is Broken works as a parallel to one of #cinemaโ€™s iconic trios." A must for both #theatre lovers and #Jaws fans. Full #review here: thedailyjaws.com/blog/jaws-mโ€ฆ

George Harrisonโ€™s โ€œBeware of Darknessโ€ during the opening credits of Weapons (2025) is my all time favourite use of licensed music in a film.

When youโ€™re talking about the greatest comedy duos of all time, donโ€™t sleep on Gene Wilder and Richard Pryor.

Out For Justice (1991) A great action scene as Steven Seagal, hunting the murderer of his partner, turns up at a bar to get information and ends up violently beating the shit out of what seems like everyone there, including Dan Inosanto. "ANYONE KNOW WHY RICHIE DID BOBBY LUPO?"

The genius of the running-elevator gag in Police Squad! is how Leslie Nielsen and Alan North manage to keep perfectly straight faces. I have no idea how many takes it took, but North not even blinking through the flowers and the arrow is unbelievable.

"Death Wish 3" was released on this day in 1985. Outrageous (and outrageously entertaining) action sequel from editor/director Michael Winner and screenwriter Don Jakoby. Highlights: Terrific stunts by coordinator Marc Boyle; fantastic score by Jimmy Page. "Death Wish 3" opened up at #1 at the box office, and later became the most profitable VHS success of the franchise. My favorite film of the series.

Closing out #Halloween2026 with this classic. Itโ€™s pretty remarkable that Mel Brooks had both this and Blazing Saddles released in the same year. #NowWatching Young Frankenstein (1974)
