Your time, energy and support helped make this special celebration memorable for our campers and their families. At RAD, we believe in the power of community to create opportunities for connection, inclusion and joy. 2nd year RAD Camper & @materdei_football superfan Brandon C. had the time of his life once again, spending time with the team both at camp and on the football field! 🏈⭐ Recently, he was invited to be an honorary captain at a Mater Dei football game where he got to interact with fans, students, athletes and coaches. His excitement was felt by everyone around him! A huge thank you to @materdeimonarchs for welcoming Brandon back to the field! ✨❤️

We’re grateful for every person who reminds us that our differences make our communities stronger and that everyone deserves a place to belong, connect and shine. October is Down Syndrome Acceptance Month and we are celebrating the friends who make our RAD community so special. ⭐️ Every person brings something unique to our community and we are so grateful for the joy, friendship, and connection our RAD friends share with us every single day. Here's to celebrating differences, creating belonging, and making sure everyone has a place to shine.

Happy International Day of Sign Languages! 🤟 At RAD Camp our ASL program is breaking down barriers and building connections, one sign at a time. Learning sign language helps make sure every single camper feels welcome, seen and included.

Ever wondered what a day at RAD Camp actually looks like? From the moment our campers arrive to our evening concert, every hour at RAD Camp is intentionally designed to inspire confidence, build community and create moments that last a lifetime. RAD Camp is the largest residential camp for children and adults with developmental disabilities in Southern California, serving more than 300 campers and their families annually across multiple summer sessions. Our programs span everything from science and mindfulness to music, dance, field day, and the arts, all delivered in an environment where every single camper is fully seen, celebrated and supported. September is National Mindfulness Month and we could not love this more. 🧘‍♀️✨ At RAD Camp we believe that taking care of your mind is just as important as taking care of your body. Our mindfulness program gives campers ways to slow down, check in with themselves and navigate everyday life with confidence and calm. Fun fact: Mindfulness can help improve focus, support emotional well-being and give us tools to manage stress.

A very RAD shoutout to the @AnaheimDucks another incredible summer together. 💙🧡 Our campers got to experience the excitement of the Anaheim Ducks firsthand, from learning the ins and outs of the stick to taking their best shot at scoring a goal and connecting with the amazing Ducks representatives who joined us. We’re so grateful for the time, generosity and enthusiasm the Ducks team brings to RAD every summer. Thanks for making this experience one our campers won’t forget. Stay RAD & Go Ducks! 🏒

A huge thank you to @EL1Sports for hosting an incredible baseball clinic for our RAD Jr. campers this year! ⚾❤️ Our campers had an amazing time learning new skills, building confidence, and making lasting memories on the field. A special thank you to the @Angels for generously gifting all 100 campers with Angels hats and helping make the day even more memorable. We're so grateful for partners like EL1 Sports and the Angels who make experiences like this possible!

We are incredibly proud to share that RAD Jr. 2026 was our most magical session yet! This year we welcomed 100 campers to Lights, Camera, RAD Camp, spending four unforgettable days building friendships, discovering confidence and being fully celebrated for exactly who they are. ⭐️ RAD is more than a summer camp. It is a reminder of what is possible when a community shows up; counselors, medical staff, sponsors, donors and families, all united around one mission: Rising Above Disabilities together. To every volunteer, sponsor and supporter who made RAD Jr. 2026 possible, thank you! You are the reason 100 campers left that campus feeling like the stars they truly are. Session A, you are next. 🎬
