तमिलनाडु सरकार के अपर मुख्य सचिव डॉ. जे. राधाकृष्णन ने बोकारो समाहरणालय में जिला स्तरीय पदाधिकारियों के साथ प्रशासन, सुशासन, आपदा प्रबंधन, नेतृत्व और जनसेवा पर अपने अनुभव साझा किए।
वर्ष 2004 की सुनामी से मिले सबक बताते हुए उन्होंने कहा कि आपदा की घड़ी में संवेदनशीलता, टीमवर्क, त्वरित निर्णय, समन्वय और मानवीय दृष्टिकोण ही प्रभावी प्रशासन की पहचान हैं।
उन्होंने परिणाम आधारित कार्यशैली, फील्ड विजिट, तकनीक एवं सोशल मीडिया के जिम्मेदार उपयोग, पूर्व तैयारी, मानसिक स्वास्थ्य और जनहित को सर्वोच्च प्राथमिकता देने का आह्वान किया।
