Here I am working in the NHS.
I came to this country as a child refugee.
I have only ever had a British passport & only ever considered myself a British citizen.
The #NationalityandBordersBill means that my citizenship could be revoked without right of appeal.
Thanks for that

You don’t get to stoke the fire at the beginning of the tournament by labelling our anti-racism message as ‘Gesture Politics’ & then pretend to be disgusted when the very thing we’re campaigning against, happens.
I am disgusted that @England players who have given so much for our country this summer have been subject to vile racist abuse on social media.
It has no place in our country and I back the police to hold those responsible accountable.

Racist abuse of any kind is abhorrent and will not be tolerated on or off the pitch.
@MetPoliceUK will investigate the appalling online abuse aimed at England players. Social media companies must take immediate action to remove and prevent this hate.

Diveristy in our school leadership is vital if we are to truly reflect our communities and children.
Great to see @Merton_Council and @SuttonCouncil working together to insure we have diverse governors.
Being a parent/teacher Governor is incredibly rewarding and influential.
One year on from the death of George Floyd we have been reflecting back on all of the work that has been going on locally to bring about change in the borough.
This work has been so important but we're just at the beginning and it will continue.
