In December last year, before Christmas, I chanced upon $DERO through a meme on my feed made by @_s3cr37_n4m3_ .
Out of curiosity, I started researching and exploring the ecosystem. Had great conversations and discussions with the DERO community on Discord. Community members and devs were helpful and willing to guide me step-by-step.
Tutorial videos by @chakipu and @RBMcrypto also helped me a lot in my learning journey. From creating a wallet, swapping via Discord and minting a NAME and NFA. All these within a week.
After the first week of exploration, I realized this is a game changer and started buying $DERO on a daily basis. And when it "crashed" to $1.8~ on the same day as when Binance removed Monero, I wasn't bothered including the FUD by maxis of a different privacy coin. In fact, it was an opportunity for me to grab more! And i did.
Today, $DERO just touched $3.6~. However, while price of the token matters to many, I, for one, am more interested in the progress and development of DERO's overall ecosystem!
In the last four days since I tweeted this, I further explored the DERO ecosystem and engaged with the @DeroProject community members. Since then, I have now:
▶️Explored the different types of $DERO wallets and noted on their unique offerings.
▶️Discovered a unique method to purchase $DERO using a combination of a DERO wallet, Monero wallet and Discord!
▶️Experimented the Non-Fungible Asset (NFA) minting platform dReams #dreamsapp developed by SixofClubs.
▶️Minted my first NFA in DERO via the #dReamsapp platform.
▶️Understood the use of the minted NAME that can be used as a Wallet identifier to send assets rather than using the super long address (think ENS).
