🎙️ Kenton Ralph Toews: The Life You Never Lived Is freedom the ultimate destination? Because what happens when you actually get it? @KentonC137 built the life many fantasise about: independence, money, travel, no conventional career path, and the freedom to decide how he spends his time. But the conversation went somewhere I wasn't expecting, and it hit a core truth... “If I'm free but everyone else is a slave, then I'm free by myself.” We learn why he walked away from a 6 figure lifestyle in his twenties, why money can become another cage, how smart people make awful decisions when fear takes over, and why the secret to having everything you want might simply be wanting less. When I asked Kenton about the life he never lived, his answer wasn't more money, status, or adventure. It was something much simpler: land, a home, books, a bonfire, children, and family. It's a fun convo and not about crypto. We discuss a much harder question: What if you spend your entire life trying to become free, only to discover that freedom isn't enough?

Stable Summit IV hits London fri 13 Nov at Protein Studios, Breakpoint week @stable_summit issuing a stablecoin is one thing, getting a company treasurer to acutally hold it and pay suppliers with it is quite another lol. thats the bit I want to hear about. I've lived and worked abroad with just a laptop and a phone for years and money is still the most annoying part of it,the rail matters way less than whether it just works when you need it. 400-600 builders, issuers, banks and policymakers in one room. who's going? stablesummit.xyz/venue/londo…

FINMA approved Switzerland’s first retail Bitcoin ETF. Now the headlines will say Bitcoin found another door, but Switzerland already had exchange-traded crypto products on SIX. What changed is just the legal wrapper. This is a Swiss collective investment fund, approved as an “other fund for alternative investments” with a specific risk, investing directly in Bitcoin and open to retail investors. FINMA approved a crypto fund for qualified investors in 2021. This decision takes regulated fund access to a broader audience. Read what FINMA actually did by granting an exception from the applicable diversification rules, citing Bitcoin’s trading history and volume relative to other cryptocurrencies. It then emphasized custody and operational risks, prominent disclosure in the fund documents, and FinSA conduct rules at the point of sale, including careful attention to suitability. That is the pattern I have seen as digital assets move into institutional structures, bonds included. The underlying risk does not disappear. The legal structure determines where it sits, who controls it, and how it must be explained to the person buying. This is a control story as much as a product story. For a board or general counsel, the questions remain practical. What does the investor own? Where is the Bitcoin held? What happens if the custodian or technology provider fails? Do the distribution controls match the volatility? Approval provides a framework for answering those questions. The documents, arrangements, and conduct of the firms involved must make the answers real. Official FINMA announcement: finma.ch/en/news/2026/10/202…

Locked in for @Solana Breakpoint. ETHCC was awesome this year and #Token2049 had excellent side events. Solana has always been my favourite blockchain because it's the people's chain, and at a time when gas fees on ETH were insanely high, Solana was the chain for retailers. Always looking to make new friends, connect with other founders and builders, and connect you to the right people in my network to take those monkeys off your back. See you at #solanabreakpoint #cryptosideeventsUK in London

Who Are The Top Prediction Makers On Crypto Twitter? As we've been building out RAFA Protocol, we've noticed that fund managers rarely share their portfolios and investments publicly, which piqued our interest in those who do. And we've created a leaderboard for it. Who, in your experience, has been making the best calls consistently? Tag their X handle in the comments 👇

Exactly. And most retailers overlook this! A booked reserve, it NOT an actual ounce in the Gold reserve.
Russia has extracted 430 - 480 tonnes of gold a year over the past five years, announces Rosnedra head Oleg Kazanov. Additions to the state mineral balance have usually been between 700 - 800 tonnes (712 tonnes in 2025 alone). That's resource replacement, not refined bars: about two-thirds of what comes out of the ground reaches final gold. A booked reserve is not an ounce in a vault. $DGC is the second kind: one token, one ounce of allocated 999.9 granules. #tokenization #Gold #RWA

The loneliest part of being a founder is finding the qualitative people to talk to. Networking sounds easy on a pitch deck: “Build relationships.”, “Meet other founders.”, “Grow your network.” Uh huh... Where exactly? Offline networking events are a lottery, LinkedIn is transactional, founder groups quickly turn into shilling lairs. If you're actually building a company, do you really need more sales pitches? I'd rather be in a room full of people who get it. And they don't need to all be gigabrains, I love stupid questions, or chatting with folks who made the mistake I'm about to make, or who might know the investor/hire/partner I’ve spent three months trying to find. @FletchRoberts_ recently left @Hashlock_ to setup Scale Thesis that's a free, private community specifically for founders, business owners, and operators. Hashlock has the POC online event for networking and connecting, and I'll always go to them because I find it qualitative, so Scale Thesis is an excellent addition to my networking aims. Because you're there to meet people, exchange what you've learned, and hopefully make the founder journey a little less dependent on figuring everything out alone. When I joined yesterday there were 72 members, and already today at 92. Had a chat with Fletcher and joined up yesterday, and already I'm seeing some seriously interesting people inside. Good networks are incredibly hard to manufacture, so when a good door gets open for free, I'm walking in. Great move, Fletcher, well done buddy.

With everyone always talking about product, I find it much more interesting to ask questions about how people live and why. COVID got us all used to remote working, and crypto gave us the freedom to work in a space of freedom 3.0. Everyone got there in their own way, but hearing about how people achieve their success is always fun. We're just not cut out for the old system.
The Life You Never Lived: Uncomfortable Success w/ @TaraAnnison at @rhinofi About: - @Bitcoin the "antique" - Rotating startups - Quitting Tradfi for crypto - What is "enough"? - and more. An extraordinary life. One many of us wish we could live too.

I host THORChain core dev @cbarraford and @tayvano_ on the Bitget hack: what a Mimir vote can and can't do, the per-chain signing halt three nodes could trigger, and who collects the fees when DPRK swaps to BTC. Monday 3:20pm ET nitter.cf/i/broadcasts/1qKDzWEWe…

I've been livestreaming for 5 years, but always for other projects, so I started my own, and just 5 episodes in, we're getting those unlived lives out there. 70% of people hate their jobs, 20% dislike them, but @TaraAnnison is surely in that Top 10% for she never lets herself get too comfortable. Here's the trailer, full episode drops tomorrow.
Just wrapped up The Life You Never Lived Podcast with @TaraAnnison from @rhinofi about Uncomfortable Success, Bitcoin the "antique", why jump from startup to startup, forever building, and never getting overly comfortable. Don't often get to talk on such hot topics. Thanks for having me on @woof_software
Meet the man who survived Russian FSB prison, walked away from Google, and lost $300k+ in BTC - now going head-to-head with our CEO. In this episode of Brutally Honest, Richie (co-founder at @lemur_labs) pulls zero punches: • Why founders don't get "freedom", they get obsession • Surviving zero runway: pay cuts over layoffs • Why AI "vibe coding" is breaking financial apps Watch the full debate 👇 youtu.be/jclE0PWbcMo

🎙️ Chris Raulf : The Life You Never Lived What happens when Google wipes out 80% of your traffic, and then your house burns to the ground? Chris Raulf has built, lost, and rebuilt more than once. But losing almost everything taught him something success couldn't: what actually matters. We talk risk, ambition, family, burnout, starting again — and the bizarre horoscope that convinced him to quit his job and change his life. This isn't a story about SEO, but about what remains when the things you thought mattered disappear.

Not another “attacker prints money,” but how about “settlement reverts forever, and the money just sits there” A dusty EasyAuction fallback, a non-upgradeable settlement contract, and a cursor you can walk off the end of the bid list. No admin key required, and up to a million of protocol collateral plus whoever was naive enough to bid. Governance can later clear the internal counter, but it can't unscrew the auction. Good to keep in mind that unused paths are still live paths if anyone can choose them. So a nice catch and solid response from the Reserve team. Kudos @therealgregoAI

Chris Raulf has lived the Life You Never Lived. It's an epic story and I want to hear all about it. nitter.cf/i/broadcasts/1pKkOXAZd… SEO, AI, teaching, and building businesses are what he does, but I want to hear the story none of us got to hear before: "How much of our life is actually chosen?" He left Switzerland for America, built a new identity thousands of miles from home, and once made one of the biggest decisions of his life after reading a horoscope. We're talking reinvention, freedom, identity, belonging, relevance, risk, and the versions of ourselves we leave behind every time we choose a different road. There's a Chris who never left Switzerland. Another who never took the leap. I want to meet the man who did — and understand what those choices cost him. This is his story, with the lessons learned, the failures, successes, and how he got to where he is today 👇

I spent years navigating European bureaucracy for technical universities. Now, thinking about how on-chain finance platforms can navigate the new and upcoming EU rules, this is how I'd operate.

Not another rehearsed founder story, I want to learn what built @KentonC137 Crypto portfolio management, head of marketing @THORChain and risk management are what he does, but I want to hear the story none of us got to hear before: "What's the price of such a free life?" We're talking money, independence, identity, relationships, and whether being such a contrarian can become its own kind of prison. He's living the life others can only dream about, and this is his story with the lessons learned, the failures, successes, and how he got to where he is today 👇 nitter.cf/i/broadcasts/1jGXgBDze…
