Rudy: "Rough couple days. A lot of things that I gotta finish that I didn’t finish. ... Gotta keep putting in the work and finishing strong, esp around the rim. That’s been important for our team and I hold myself at the highest standard for that. Definitely gotta be better."
Rudy Gobert has only 8 games in his career where he's made 0 field goals with 4 or more attempts. Two of them have been this week.
The 0-9 against Cleveland is the most misses he's had in a game without a make out of 910 career games
Been an out of character stretch for Rudy. He has to play much better on offense and the Wolves need to get him better looks

Well, that was a less than inspiring first game for the Timberwolves without Anthony Edwards as they fall at home to the Warriors
Good that they came back and maybe they get there if a couple more shots go down, but the Wolves played poorly for a majority of this game

Chris Finch notes that TJ Shannon, Ayo Dosunmu, and Trey Lyles can all definitely play more.
Adds that more Lyles will mean more Kuminga at the 3.
"Bones will move from a situational guy to a rotation guy.
"We will be flexible every single night... We just have to make the right choices.

Here's Tim Connelly addressing the media this morning on Anthony Edwards' knee injury.
- Will have an arthroscopic procedure in the next 24 hours
- Not a meniscus injury; just an arthroscopic clean up of his knee
- The most recent imaging of the knee changed after the game in Cleveland on Monday -- different than the imaging they took in last season's playoffs and different than even a month ago.
- Edwards wants to play tonight, but this is what's best for his long-term health
- No timeline set for recovery until after the procedure. Don't think it will be something that costs him the season
- Connelly says Edwards should be good as new after recovery. This is not something they're concerned with long-term.

Anthony Edwards' injury affects the Timberwolves more than just this season. Ant will not be supermax eligible this summer, complicating the path towards an long-term extension
In my latest for SI, I broke down all the fallout including the Wolves' options this offseason ⤵️
Big bummer for the Wolves, but they are as equipped to cover up for their star being out as a team can be. LaMelo, Jaden, and Ayo will all see increased usage
Possibly the largest impact is that Ant will almost certainly miss All-NBA and will not be supermax eligible this summer

You have to call something here. Either it's a block or a charge. I think it's a block as Sam Merrill rotates late, but I'd at least understand calling a charge
And then you call the foul on LaMelo? All of this after the missed call on Ant in regulation. Brutal for the Wolves
Not a full on "well that's why" game from LaMelo, but he did not have a good game tonight. 7 turnovers and 0 rebounds stand out
