They broke due to this Idiots incompetence. He lost supply line. He lost 18 American bases. He emptied our armory. He empowered the enemy. And his actions led to the killing of 170 school girls. Loser/poser.
Hegseth: "If the world's supply lines break -- and in a real war, they are gonna break -- America keeps fighting anyway. We're hardening every installation on American soil."

There is something so unAmerican and so disturbing about an American president demeaning and poking fun at a fellow American president in the presence of a communist leader, while the previous president is battling cancer. It’s just so sickening.

Here is to a multitalented man. Here is to someone who, when his trumpet failed him before thousands of people, didn’t panic. He simply picked up the microphone and kept going. And perhaps most of all, here is to those who turn massive mishaps into memorable moments. Who meet an unexpected setback with calm, creativity, and courage. Who take a terrible turn and transform it into a tremendous triumph. Sometimes, if we don't give up, adversity doesn’t get the final note. We do. op: @dbacks

It's a spectator sport in that this administration is only good at producing spectacles. You are a natural fit because you're not a real athlete, just an influencer who's also good at producing theatre. The administration is using you to distract from a foreign war that has made life more expensive in the United States. You are happy to participate because you have no real beliefs outside of self-promotion and making money.

Axios sought out Hasan Piker, interviewed him just to pick him apart, and now CNN is reporting on it...when there are a million other things to focus on. This is why no one likes legacy media.
First on @TheLeadCNN: Hasan Piker tells @axios @AlexThomp the Middle East 'would be more stable' if Iran had a nuke

Hey, New York Times, we need to talk. What is this? Genuinely. Because in what world were the Israelis not the victims? Why write that most of us "think" we are? Are the Hamas terrorists who burned families alive the real victims? I've seen a lot of disgusting coverage on the war, but this might be the worst I've ever seen.

It’s called freedom. Macklemore is free to say what he wants. People are free to protest what he says. The owner of the venue is free to tell Macklemore he can’t perform in his venue bcuz of what he says. This is freedom & the free market at work. Yes, this is my America - a place where people outside of government are free to make their own decisions.

Here is a running list of controversies surrounding both Texas Senate candidates. James Talarico: • Has wifi on his campaign van • A rumor about him being vegan Ken Paxton: • Gave his pedophile friend an Epstein style sweetheart deal that allowed him to be released from prison after just a couple of weeks despite repeatedly raping a young boy. • Impeached by his own party for blatant corruption. • Indicted on securities fraud charges. • Reported by his own staff for selling his position of power, 8 staffers wrote to the FBI concerning his actions in office, many of which were fired for speaking out. • Forced to pay restitution to the fired employees (millions from tax payers) • Caught on camera stealing a $1,000 pen, refusing to give it back until being threatened with arrest. • Had an affair with a woman, who was employed by a guy he was giving preferential treatment by Paxton’s office. • Illegally voted in Texas state elections, registered at the wrong address.
Despite being critical of @elonmusk, there is a @Starlink satellite dish on this James Talarico van.

Good start, Michele. Keep on this.
Minnesota Senate nominee Michele Tayofa on the Iran war: "Maybe you take one less trip to Starbucks and so that gas goes a little further. Until this thing is over and these gas prices come back down again, let's just try to be patriots about this."

Sherman Hemsley signed his first major sitcom contract with a clause that paid him less than half his white co-star because the network didn’t believe a Black actor could carry prime-time television in 1975 and he still turned George Jefferson into the most unstoppable force on American TV. Before the money caught up, before the awards, before the theme song blasted through living rooms nationwide, Hemsley was working full-time at the Philadelphia Post Office. He performed at night in tiny theatres, often changing clothes in bathroom stalls because there were no dressing rooms for Black actors. Norman Lear found him in a New York production of “Purlie” and begged him to join “All in the Family.” Hemsley said no — he didn’t want to abandon his stage cast. Lear flew to New York and promised to hold the role until Hemsley finished the run. No one in television history had ever done that. When “The Jeffersons” launched in 1975, CBS executives warned Lear that audiences “wouldn’t accept” a sharp-tongued, unapologetically ambitious Black man owning a chain of dry-cleaning stores. One executive even asked if George shouldn’t “tone down the success.” Hemsley refused. He made George strut. He made him brag. He made him loud, stubborn, fiery, vulnerable, hilarious — human. What viewers didn’t know was how much pressure he absorbed behind the scenes. Scripts often arrived softened so George wouldn’t seem “too assertive.” Hemsley pushed back line by line. In one table read, when a producer hinted George should “ease up,” Hemsley tapped the page and said, “This is what he’d say. This is why he matters.” And it worked. By season two, the ratings crushed every doubt. By season five, “The Jeffersons” was one of the most-watched shows in America. Teenagers copied the “George Jefferson walk.” Adults quoted his one-liners at work. Meanwhile, Hemsley stayed quiet off-camera — no parties, no headlines. He lived in a modest Los Angeles home, practicing dance steps in his living room for scenes he wanted perfect. He never chased fame. He chased honesty. Sherman Hemsley didn’t just play a groundbreaking character. He forced television to expand around him — whether the industry was ready or not.

It’s not that your position is “inherently political,” it’s that it’s inherently bigoted and stupid.
If "protect women's sports" is inherently political, so is "trans kids belong" The WNBA doesn't have a problem with politics in sports. They have a problem with conservative politics in sports.
