Iran's IRGC Publishes 26-Page Open Letter To Directly to AMERICANS
I read the entire letter. It is FAR more extensive than the excerpts circulating online.
The IRGC DIRECTLY addresses American citizens, students, academics and journalists, laying out its view of the war, decades of U.S.-Iran hostility and what it believes Americans should do next.
Key points:
• IRAN CLAIMS VICTORY: The letter argues the U.S. and Israel failed to achieve their objectives despite vastly greater military spending. It points to Iran's control of the Strait of Hormuz, continued weapons production, national unity and damage inflicted on U.S. regional bases.
• WHY IRAN DID NOT BREAK: The IRGC says Iran's strength ultimately comes not from missiles or drones, but from Quranic principles, national unity and religious leadership. It devotes several pages to Karbala and the Shia principle of resisting oppression regardless of the cost.
• "DEATH TO AMERICA SLOGAN": The IRGC says the slogan targets America's ruling political establishment, NOT ordinary Americans. It argues that Iranians and Americans are both victims of the same political elite.
• 73 YEARS OF HOSTILITY: The letter traces the conflict from the 1953 coup through the Shah, the Iran-Iraq War, sanctions, Flight 655, the killing of Qasem Soleimani, the 2025 war, the January 2026 unrest and the current war.
• IRGC TERRORISM DESIGNATION: The Guards argue Washington designated the IRGC a terrorist organization because it repeatedly blocked U.S. attempts to weaken or overthrow the Islamic Republic.
• NUCLEAR PROGRAM: The letter calls allegations that Iran is pursuing nuclear weapons one of Washington's biggest lies. It notes that U.S. officials have claimed for 25 YEARS that Iran was only "weeks or months" away from building a bomb, yet Iran still has no nuclear weapon.
• ISRAEL: The IRGC argues U.S. support for Israel has damaged America's interests, reputation and finances, while American taxpayers continue funding Israeli military operations.
• AMERICAN DECLINE: The letter blames foreign wars, military spending, national debt, deindustrialization and poor leadership for weakening the U.S. It contrasts this with China's continued advances while Washington spends enormous resources fighting wars abroad.
• CLOSE THE BASES: The letter urges Americans to demand the closure of roughly 800 U.S. overseas military bases, bring American troops home, end aid to Israel and redirect that money toward science, advanced manufacturing and domestic prosperity.
• CHANGE U.S. LEADERSHIP: Americans are urged to use their votes to remove politicians the letter describes as corrupt and dishonest. It specifically mocks politicians who think they can buy Americans' votes with a $5,000 payment.
• THE WARNING: The IRGC warns that continuing the war could trigger broader political and economic backlash against U.S. interests around the world.
• THE OFFER: Despite its attacks on the U.S. government, the letter tells Americans:
"We can live together in peaceful coexistence."
• THE ENDING: The final paragraphs invoke JESUS CHRIST and IMAM MAHDI, saying Iran awaits their return to establish justice and hopes Americans will ultimately stand alongside Iranians.
The central message across all 26 pages is a clear distinction between the AMERICAN GOVERNMENT and the AMERICAN PEOPLE.
The IRGC portrays the conflict as the result of decades of U.S. policy while telling Americans that a completely different relationship with Iran remains possible.

Dignity, regrettably, is not something we can restore on behalf of the US Navy.
We do not have to "compromise" on a fucking genocide.

What you’re saying then is that you’re not willing to have a candidate you support ever actually get elected. Because electoral politics always involves some kind of compromise or another.
Game recognise game, I guess

Ouch. People who think they're tuning in to @zeteo_news to get a fresh perspective should always remember this revealingly pompous and shitty put down from Mehdi Hasan. A mask off moment. Follow @cbonneauimages, she is doing excellent work on the ground.
This mf opposed gay marriage coming into office, he has no room to talk about morals, ethics, or how anybody lives together in any moment

Nancy Pelosi, who spent years as Speaker of the House, spent Thursday at a “Free Tibet” rally outside the Capitol, while China’s President Xi Jinping was at the White House.
She has run this rubbish for decades with the same claims that Tibet has been forgotten.
Forgotten by whom exactly?
Before 1959, Tibet was not a peaceful Buddhist kingdom. It was a theocratic serf state. Fewer than 5 percent of the people, government officials, aristocrats and upper lamas, owned virtually all the land, every pasture and most of the livestock.
The other 95 percent owned nothing, including themselves. They were bound to the estate and sold, gifted or inherited along with the soil. Unpaid labour service, corvee, swallowed more than half of a household’s working year and in some districts 70 to 80 percent.
The old codes arranged people into three classes and nine ranks, and priced a life accordingly. A man at the top was worth his weight in gold, while a man at the bottom was worth a straw rope.
There was not one modern school and fewer than 2 percent of children enrolled. Illiteracy ran above 95 percent, the average life expectancy was just 35.5 years and for most people medicine meant prayer.
One monastery, Drepung, held 185 manors, 20,000 serfs, 300 pastures and 16,000 herders.
That is what democratic reform abolished in 1959.
Tibet today has a life expectancy of 72.5 years and its population has more than tripled. All 74 of its counties came off the poverty list in 2019, with 628,000 people lifted out of absolute poverty, from the highest poverty rate in the country to zero.
It was the first place in China to make 15 years of schooling free, including kindergarten and through senior high school. Boarding is covered too: food, lodging and study costs.
In China’s Tibet Autonomous Region there are about 3,600 schools and close to a million students, more than a quarter of the entire population. Nine-year schooling completion is 97.9 percent and higher education enrollment is 57.8 percent.
As of 2026, every township and every administrative village sits on the road network, 125,000 kilometres of it, alongside 1,359 kilometres of railway and 183 air routes.
Of the 40,000+ elected deputies at local level, 89.2 percent are Tibetan or from other minority nationalities.
This year’s version of the script is boarding schools, so it is worth doing the arithmetic:
The exile groups at this week’s rally claim a million Tibetan children have been taken from their families. A million is roughly every child in school in the entire region.
The plateau is enormous and the settlements are days apart. Boarding is how a child gets to a classroom at all.
Pelosi is standing with the 5 percent and with the exiles who left in 1959. Nobody at that rally asked anyone who actually lives there what they want.
That is also why the rally is always scheduled for the week a Chinese president is in Washington.
Tibet was not forgotten; it simply left the Middle Ages. Clearly, parts of Washington have not and want the suffering to continue.
@SpeakerPelosi
A powerful moment for Tibet today in Washington, D.C.
We were deeply honored to have Madam Nancy Pelosi join the Chalo DC rally on Capitol Hill and stand alongside Tibetans and Tibet supporters.
For decades, she has stood with the Tibetan people and spoken out for human rights and freedom. Her presence today sends a powerful message: Tibet has friends, Tibet has a voice, and Tibet will not be forgotten.
Thank you, Madam Pelosi, for standing with Tibet.

Abdul El-Sayed is parroting Zionist talking points by framing Zionist feelings as being a trauma response to the holocaust. Zionist colonization began in earnest as early as the 1880s. The idea that the colony is a reaction to genocide erases decades of violence and planning.
Abdul El-Sayed on Israel-Palestine:
I understand on both sides of this debate, we're also dealing with a lot of trauma. A lot of trauma.
I understand that for a lot of Jewish Americans, there's the trauma of the Holocaust and the need to have a refuge. I understand that.
And I also understand that for a lot of Palestinian Americans and Palestinians everywhere, there's the trauma of the Nakba.
We've got to be able to create the circumstances within which both of these deeply traumatized people can have a conversation built on principle. But to me, the answer has to be principle. It has to be.

Ban homeschooling, ban private schools, ban school choice.
Everyone should be on equal footing when it comes to education.
And if some rich or particular parent complain, tell them to invest in the school system and improve it for everybody
