Never forget: READING FOR PLEASURE has the biggest positive impact of any factor on children's life chances. So whatever else you do, please never stop encouraging kids to read the things they love. There is nothing more important! #literacy

I love libraries & librarians, so I'm beyond honoured to see Tyger on the #YotoCarnegies24 longlist - for both writing & illustration! Huge, huge thanks to the judges, it means more than I can say - and thanks to all librarians for always championing children's literature!

If we care about the future of our children - we need a library & a librarian in every single school, to help every single child find the books that will make them readers! Libraries & librarians change children's lives FOREVER! #GreatSchoolLibraries
