Choose ZK or TEEs by what an output can trigger: one action, many consumers, or a chain.
Across 2.8M+ proof executions, downstream fan-out—not compute size—determined the economics: TEEs fit bounded, latency-sensitive actions; ZK earns its cost when outputs must compose across independent systems.
Proof cost buys reusable coordination.

$ASTS: The “stronger competitive alternatives” have not launched a single functional D2D satellite or have done ANY testing with MNOs but suddenly and out of nowhere they will emerge and take market share vs a company that has been doing this for the last 7 years 😂
B. Riley Downgrades $ASTS to Neutral from Buy, Cuts PT to $65 from $85
Crawford says the risk/reward has “swung back toward balance,” citing “arguably stronger competitive alternatives, delayed launch, and rising constellation costs, potentially including additional spectrum.”
BlueBird 11’s full deployment was confirmed about 35 days after ASTS announced successful deployment of BlueBirds 12 and 13, despite all three launching on August 5.
His concern is “what prices consumers ultimately will bear for added space-based connectivity” as lower-cost competitors emerge.
Viasat and Space42’s Equatys venture could begin launching a constellation that may reach 2,800 satellites as soon as 2028.
He sees a potential Rocket Lab partnership with Equatys as a greater threat than Rocket Lab competing independently.
Crawford still views D2D as a “multiple-winner market” and ASTS among its leaders. But with subscriber uptake and service pricing data still to come, he believes “shares fairly reflect what we know today.”

AI is no longer just a productivity tool.
It is becoming a strategic force.
I created a short briefing based on the “AI 2027” roadmap by Daniel Kokotajlo, Scott Alexander, and collaborators, summarising 5 takeaways every leader should pay attention to.

AXIS pushing deeper into the infrastructure needed for ai to understand the physical world
The partnership with @ManycoreTech is interesting because it goes beyond simply adding more 3d assets.
Manycore is building spatial intelligence systems around 3d generation, simulation, digital twins and ai driven design. Its spatialverse platform is focused on creating structured, interactive spatial data that intelligent agents can actually work with.
That’s where @axisrobotics suite fits in.
Axis delivered complex, physics ready simulation assets designed to support manycore’s 3d generative models.
A real 3d world model needs more than realistic pixels.
It needs objects that behave like real objects, environments grounded in physics and interactions that can be simulated, tested and learned from.
By bringing high fidelity, physics ready assets into this pipeline axis is helping provide the physical signals required for the next generation of spatial intelligence.
The bigger picture is compelling
3d generation → simulation → physical data → intelligent agents → real world action.
This is another step toward making ai understand not just what the world looks like but how the world works.

Nebius $NBIS acquires Inferize which is an AI inference optimization startup…
Nebius is obviously trying to be more efficient about all the resources they have to use on AI inference and compute this is a step in the long path to doing that.

“it’s the people you meet at conferences…”
WRONG
the most interesting people i’ve met have been at random places just doing their thing
- Lifelong friend I met at a car wash 10 years ago
- Guy sitting next to me at Cafe Lyria (high end car detailer)
- Gas station on the palisades parkway
- At the hotel pool in Playa Del Carmen (my current life coach)
- And here on 𝕏
productive people rarely go to conferences
I don’t get why someone would pay $1200+ to attend a tech conference in today’s day and age
there’s an AI conference coming to New York, and I was thinking of attending until I saw the price
I can’t imagine there’s anything that will be presented there that’s not available on 𝕏 or YouTube
or even by DMing an engineer who’s done it and asking them for help
please enlighten me

this is how you respond on capability jumps. you put the model on real infrastructure. memory. kernels. codecs. you make it propose. then you audit. then you ship only what survives review.
Google says Argon agents already freed over 300 TiB across data centers. and they are migrating hundreds of thousands of lines from C/C++ to Rust, with rigorous audits and testing before anything hits production. that is not a demo reel. that is defenders using the same class of tools the attackers will have.
some people will say: but the benchmarks are not the whole story. fine. Bloomberg already notes gaps on certain coding work. Will every agent patch be perfect? Probably not.
Why? Because the point is not the scoreboard. the point is whether teams take responsibility and build the safety net around the model. sandboxes. audits. refusals where needed. full cyber capability for people who actually defend systems.
it is not AI who is trying to kill us. it is how people use it. used well, the digital world gets safer.
I would like ACCESS ASAP on Gemini 4 Argon!
Can I get it @GoogleDeepMind ? :)

After Exploring
One thing I find interesting about @axisrobotics how it approaches scaling robot intelligence without making the training pipeline unnecessarily complex.
Instead of relying on complicated reward engineering or expensive reward-model fine tuning axis shows that sparse, simple rewards can be enough to adapt a policy across different tasks.
That changes the economics of robot training.
With the right data, feedback loops and scalable infrastructure, you can produce large numbers of capable robot experts without requiring massive compute budgets or constant human supervision.
The bigger idea is simple to make robot learning cheaper to scale while keeping the quality of the resulting policies useful across tasks.

Staking in @termix_ai is not simply about locking tokens and waiting for rewards.
AACP uses staking as an accountability mechanism between different participants in a job.
The interesting design choice is the persistent staking pool. The agent maintains a pool where funds can be available or temporarily locked.
Different actions can trigger different locking requirements. A client, provider, evaluator, or disputing party can have economic exposure during the part of the process they control.
𝙒𝙝𝙮 𝙙𝙤𝙚𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙧?
Because autonomous commerce needs consequences.
If an agent can submit poor work, abandon a job, or behave unfairly without risking anything, the system has a weak incentive structure.
TermiX is trying to connect participation with economic responsibility.
The basic idea is simple: if you're part of the transaction, you should have some skin in the game.

Solar Just Overtook Coal in China
A major energy milestone just happened in China.
Solar has now surpassed coal as the country's largest source of installed power capacity.
That does not mean coal is gone.
Coal still generates far more electricity.
But the direction of travel is becoming impossible to ignore.
☀️ Solar capacity is exploding
🔋 Storage deployment is accelerating
⚡ Grid flexibility is improving
🧠 AI is entering energy optimization
The energy transition is no longer about adding renewables around the edges.
It is starting to reshape the core of the power system.
Is installed capacity the first sign of a much bigger structural shift?

$IONQ was the only company witness at a Pennsylvania quantum hearing.
On 11 August the state House Communications & Technology Committee held an informational hearing at Penn State. The other witnesses were Penn State's Applied Research Laboratory, the state's economic development department and the Quantum Industry Coalition.
Pennsylvania "is not currently considered one of the nation's leaders in quantum computing," the coalition wrote, but it "has the potential to capture significant economic benefit." The state's plan is its new Keystone AI + Quantum Factory, with a goal in writing: technologies invented in Pennsylvania should be "commercialized in Pennsylvania, manufactured in Pennsylvania."
IonQ's witness was Mihir Bhaskar, SVP of Global R&D at the time, who now runs SkyWater Quantum Solutions as SVP and GM. He cited Maryland, where IonQ is part of the $1 billion Capital of Quantum. His written testimony adds IonQ's work with Synopsys on a Rolls-Royce jet engine model and with Oak Ridge National Laboratory on the power grid. IonQ, he said, "looks forward to partnering with the Commonwealth."
In the video below, Rep. Robert Leadbeter (R-Columbia) says data centers have become an incendiary topic in lawmakers' districts and asks whether they could be called quantum stations. Bhaskar answers that a chemical simulation can take an entire data center and megawatts of power, and that quantum computers are being built to do it far more efficiently.
Paul Stimers, head of the Quantum Industry Coalition, asks for a moment to brag on IonQ. Its quantum computers, he says, run on wall outlets.
