This is the funniest kind of China “expert.” 30+ years visiting, studying, living, and working in China. Now in Shanghai. Account based in the United States. Still somehow spends his time telling Chinese people that Japanese invasion and massacre should be morally diluted by China’s internal political tragedies. No. China’s internal suffering is not a coupon for Japanese war crimes. The Cultural Revolution does not erase Japanese soldiers murdering Chinese farmers. The Great Leap Forward does not erase Nanjing. Tiananmen does not erase Unit 731. Real estate problems do not erase 13 years of invasion, rape, forced labor, bombing, occupation, and massacre. Only a morally rotten expat parasite thinks a country’s domestic tragedies can be used as a discount code for foreign invasion. By his logic, because America had the Civil War, slavery, Jim Crow, Vietnam, Iraq, Abu Ghraib, drone killings, school shootings, opioid deaths, and police brutality, then 9/11 and Pearl Harbor were no big deal. A nation can have internal crimes and still be the victim of foreign aggression. Even animals understand that. But apparently this clown spend 30 years in China and still learn nothing except how to sneer at the country feeding them. Living in Shanghai while laundering Japanese war crimes is not courage. It is colonial freeloading with a Wi-Fi connection.

Yasukuni Shrine honors Class-A war criminals directly responsible for WWII atrocities. Japanese political figures’ visits and offerings to the war shrine are blatant provocations against international justice and a serious affront to human conscience. China, like many countries in Asia and beyond, is outraged and strongly condemns them.

Wow, guess who is not blessed…😂
God does not bless any conflict. Anyone who is a disciple of Christ, the Prince of Peace, is never on the side of those who once wielded the sword and today drop bombs. Military action will not create space for freedom or times of #Peace, which comes only from the patient promotion of coexistence and dialogue among peoples.

China’s electric truck revolution isn’t just tech—it’s another middle finger to U.S. hegemony🖕 SCMP’s piece scmp.com/news/china/science/… on China’s electric trucks being a "painkiller" for oil-war headaches underplays its impact on geopolitics China’s EV trucks aren’t just a band-aid for Iran war wounds—they’re a permanent alternative to U.S.-controlled energy systems While Washington panics over exports from Chinese EV Brands from BYD, Geely, NIO, XPeng due to their superior affordability, advanced technology, and rapid production capabilities, they’re missing the real tectonic shift. China is not just manufacturing EVs; it is energizing the logistics sector across the country and the Global South Logistics is the circulatory system of empire. Most see a truck; I see a mobile unit of de-dollarization. By removing oil from the logistics equation, China isn't just saving money and the environment—it's rendering the US Treasury's favorite weapon (oil-based sanctions) impotent. Currently, every countries logistic system runs on diesel oil—and the USD. By electrifying its 40-ton fleet, Beijing is surgically removing the Petrodollar from its system and trade routes. No oil imports = No USD dependency = Real Sovereignty The "painkiller" metaphor reveals Beijing's calculus: every diesel truck replaced are thousands of barrels of oil that doesn't need to transit Hormuz or the Malacca strait. China imports ~50% of crude from the Middle East. E-trucks + battery swap networks let China weather energy shocks—it's not just emission reduction, but supply chain bulletproofing - Since 2022, national sales of electric heavy trucks have grown by an average of 30 to 50% annually - China’s sales of electric heavy trucks hit 231,100 units in 2025 – a YoY surge of 182% - In December 2025 alone, domestic sales of all heavy trucks totalled 84,000 units, with new-energy models accounting for 54%, overtaking traditional fuel trucks for the first time - By 2028, 50% of heavy trucks will be electric—cutting diesel demand even further On the battery front, industry leaders such as CATL, BYD, and Gotion High-Tech have rolled out specialised fast-charging batteries for heavy trucks in recent years. For instance, Gotion unveiled a new battery for tractor units in March. The product features “triple low-temperature protection” technology, allowing for efficient charging even at minus 30 degrees Celsius Fast charging is now widespread, with most models capable of reaching 80% capacity within an hour The real win? Battery swapping: It’s the new "Standard Gauge." By setting the infrastructure rules now, China is making its model the default for the Belt and Road Battery swapping creates a standardized platform that locks in BRI markets CATL's standardized "75#" swappable battery isn't just tech—it's the Android/iOS play for freight and logistics. By 2025: 300 swap stations covering 13 core regions. By 2030: 10,000 stations This creates a battery-as-a-service ecosystem where Chinese trucks become the only logical choice for developing nations—because who else brings the fueling infrastructure? China is solving the "chicken-egg" problem that killed Western e-truck adoption Europe's e-truck share is 1.3% compared to China's 30%+ The gap isn't engineering—it's coordination. While Volvo waits for charging infrastructure and governments wait for truck adoption, CATL + Sinotruk + Sinopec are vertically integrating battery production, swap stations, and fleet subsidies simultaneously. China's "state-capitalist" model treats transport electrification as infrastructure, not as market choice Diesel demand destruction is happening faster than peak oil CNPC predicts 20,000 gas stations closing by 2030. Heavy trucks consume 43% of road transport emissions but are only 3% of vehicles. By hitting this segment first, China cuts oil imports structurally even before the Middle East conflict—meaning the "painkiller" works even if Hormuz and the Malacca straits stay open. It's preemptive demand destruction Why trucks are harder for the West to counter than cars: Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) determines fleet purchases, not brand loyalty. CATL's sodium-ion batteries enable $0.13/km savings vs diesel—over $13,000/year per truck. That's math, not marketing ainvest.com/news/catl-ev-tru… Infrastructure lock-in: You can charge a BYD car at any European station. But CATL's 75# swap stations require Chinese-standard logistics. The ecosystem travels with the vehicle. Fleet turnover: Trucks are B2B purchases. Corporate financing can undercut Western makers by 30% on upfront cost, then monetize through battery leasing Chinese electric truck exports as a “Green Marshall Plan” prototype Brazil, Indonesia, and South Africa have already sent delegations to study Chinese swap stations. This isn’t “selling vehicles” – it’s exporting a full‑stack energy transition solution: vehicles + batteries + swap stations + integrated wind‑solar‑storage. For developing countries, this is the shortest path to bypass Western carbon border taxes, potential oil sanctions and achieve a leapfrog into the green industrialisation Outlook: China will dominate e-trucks more completely than passenger EVs, because the infrastructure requirements (swap stations, megawatt charging, grid integration) favor state-coordinated industrial policy over market fragmentation. The West is competing with a whole vertical integrated energy system, not just vehicle brands This isn't just "green energy" fluff. It's Structural Autonomy. When your logistics are de-coupled from Western-controlled oil lanes, "hegemony" becomes an empty word. The future doesn't run on fossilized imperial logic. It runs on LFP batteries✌️

The Conscience of the US
After much reflection, I have decided to resign from my position as Director of the National Counterterrorism Center, effective today. I cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran. Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby. It has been an honor serving under @POTUS and @DNIGabbard and leading the professionals at NCTC. May God bless America.

Just as I thought.
BREAKING: The White House FREAKS out after a report reveals that Trump's Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff has been desperately begging Iran to negotiate via text messages — which Iran has ignored. The humiliation never ends with this administration... “Behind the scenes, it is the Trump administration that has been asking for talks,” reported Jeremy Scahill of Drop Site News. “Two Iranian officials told Drop Site that Trump’s Special Envoy Steve Witkoff personally sent messages to officials in Tehran, including Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, last week exploring possibilities for resuming negotiations. Iran has not replied to Witkoff. The Iranian officials told Drop Site that Iran has also received messages from the White House via third countries,” wrote Scahill. Drop Site further reported that a "senior Iranian official" revealed that Witkoff has repeatedly tried to restart peace negotiations but “Iran has once again closed the window for any direct negotiations.” Meanwhile, Trump has been lying through his teeth and insists that Iran's leaders "want to negotiate badly" and claims that the United States is easily winning the war. In reality, Iran is pummeling U.S. bases and the oil infrastructure of our Gulf allies. The Strait of Hormuz has been choked off to western ships, leading to a sharp increase in global oil prices. The truth is that Iran has all of the real leverage here. They have realized that this is an existential battle for their survival. If they allow the U.S. to end this war after assassinating their leader and slaughtering their women and children with bombs, it's likely that America and Israel will wait a few months, restock their weapons, and attack again. Iran has calculated that a longer conflict now is worth it if it discourages further acts of aggression. The Trump administration predictably flew off the handle over Drop Site's reporting— “The radical, left-wing Drop Site News is clearly carrying water for the Iranian terrorist regime – and reports like these based on pure fiction and citing unnamed anonymous sources should be discarded immediately,” a White House spokesperson told Drop Site News. “Iran feeds this fake news media outlet propaganda and they publish it as fact, which is abhorrent, America Last behavior. Operation Epic Fury will continue unabated until President Trump, as Commander-in-Chief, determines that the goals of Operation Epic Fury, including for Iran to no longer pose a military threat, have been fully realized," they added. Of course, in MAGA world anything other than the most obsequious, praise-drenched support for Donald Trump is painted as "radical left-wing fake news." At this point, these smears fall on deaf ears. It's clear to everyone outside of Trump's cult of personality that this war — in addition to being a moral catastrophe and historic criminal act — is proving to be a strategic disaster. When it does eventually end, everyone involved in launching it must be investigated and prosecuted for war crimes. Please ❤️ and share if you think that the Iran War is a disaster!

Trump's team must not have read the Tao Te Ching. Before thousands of years of Chinese wisdom, there was little that was new in the world of politics and the military.

President Trump says the US in conjunction with "many countries" is sending war ships to the Strait of Hormuz to keep it "open and safe." Trump also calls on China, France, Japan, South Korea, the UK, and others to send war ships to Hormuz. Oh. Oh this is beautiful. This is the geopolitical equivalent of the guy who starts a bar fight, gets his head put through the pool table, and then looks up at the bouncer with blood pouring out of his nose going "Are you gonna DO something about these guys?!" Let me get this straight. You bombed Iran. YOU started this. You launched Operation Epic Fury like a kid naming his Nerf gun. You flattened their cities, cratered their infrastructure, killed God knows how many civilians, and now that they've done the ONE thing that every single analyst on Earth said they would do... close the Strait of Hormuz... you're asking CHINA for help? CHINA. The country you've spent three years tariffing into oblivion. The country you called an enemy of civilisation. You want THEM to send warships to protect YOUR oil supply chain? In what universe does Xi Jinping take that phone call and not just put it on speaker so the whole room can laugh? And here's the bit that should be printed on a plaque and hung in the Smithsonian under the heading "Weapons Grade Cognitive Dissonance Dipshit." Direct quote from the man himself: "We have already destroyed 100% of Iran's Military capability." Next sentence. LITERALLY the next sentence: "But it's easy for them to send a drone or two, drop a mine, or deliver a close range missile somewhere along, or in, this Waterway." I'M SORRY, WHAT? You destroyed ONE HUNDRED PERCENT of their military capability and they can STILL mine one of the most important shipping lanes on the planet? What kind of shit maths is that? That's not 100%, mate. That's not even close to 100%. If you hired a pest exterminator and he said "I've eliminated 100% of the termites, but they can still eat your house," you'd want your money back. He calls the Strait closure an "artificial constraint." ARTIFICIAL. Brother, there is nothing artificial about it. You dropped bombs on a sovereign nation and they blocked a chokepoint that carries 20% of the world's oil. That's not artificial. That's called CONSEQUENCES. That's cause and effect. That's the thing that happens AFTER the thing you did. Toddlers understand this concept. You touch the stove, you get burned. You bomb Iran, they close Hormuz. This is not complicated. And the absolute cheek of calling Iran "a Nation that has been totally decapitated" while simultaneously admitting they're holding the entire global energy market hostage with speedboats and sea mines. Pick a lane, Donald. Either they're decapitated or they're not. You don't get to claim total victory AND beg France for naval escorts in the same paragraph. Speaking of France. And Japan. And South Korea. And the UK. Notice who's NOT on that list? Australia. Not even worth asking apparently. Which, honestly, fair enough, because we've got about four days of fuel reserves and a navy that couldn't project force to Bondi Beach, but it does sort of highlight how far down the pecking order we've fallen while our politicians were busy kissing the ring at Mar-a-Lago. But here's the real headline buried under all the tough-guy cosplay. He's LOSING. This post is what losing looks like when you're a narcissist who can't say the word. He can't reopen the Strait alone. The US Navy, for all its power, cannot clear mines and fight asymmetric warfare across a narrow waterway while simultaneously bombing the shoreline AND keeping tanker traffic flowing. It's a logistical nightmare and he knows it. That's why he's begging. That's why a man who has never asked anyone for anything in his life is out here publicly requesting that other nations come bail him out. And they won't. Because why would they? China's already getting its oil overland from Russia. France has no skin in this game. Japan and South Korea are furious about tariffs. And the UK is trying to figure out how to diplomatically distance itself from a war it never supported without losing its trade deal. He's alone. He did this to himself. And the only people who'll pay the price are the rest of us, watching fuel prices rip through the roof while this spray-tanned catastrophe stands at the podium claiming everything is going exactly to plan. One way or the other, he says. OPEN, SAFE, and FREE, he says. Mate, the only thing that's open is the hole you've dug yourself into. And it's getting deeper by the hour.
