Her smile says it all! Her passion is baking and one day would like to own her own bakery. Currently, she developing her skills @DelectableNS. She has a steady hand for decorating and shows up each day with a positive attitude.

He’s experiencing it all at Sackville Public Library - Baby and Tot programming, Teen Zone, creating displays and social media content, holiday events, and this morning being flexible to help out on the desk. Thank you for hosting one of @lockviewhigh’s O2 students!

For his first co-op experience this @lockviewhigh O2 student wanted to learn about auto body repair. He has been 100% hands-on the entire time! This morning when I stopped by he had finished taping and sanding the roof of a car. Thank you Topcoat Automotive!

He’s in his element building bikes and SxS! He independently put together two snowploughs and, with the help of his mentor, learned how to properly mount them to the bikes. Thank you Canmac Powersports for supporting @lockviewhigh’s O2/co-op students.

Yesterday morning started with a visit @BattlefieldCat in Dartmouth. This O2 student was clearing snow before he and his mentor could safely diagnose and repair equipment.

It is always enjoyable when @lockviewhigh students send photos from their co-op experiences. This young man is learning about industrial crane rentals/services and heavy duty transport. Thank you to his mentors at Moodies Crane Rentals.

Three of @lockviewhigh’s co-op students had the opportunity to attend @CdnMedHallFame Discovery Days in Health Sciences. Following a motivational keynote, students participated in informative and interactive workshops.

Visiting Mental Health Day Hospital as this @lockviewhigh O2 student’s first co-op experience is working with the Recreation Therapy team. This morning they were practicing mindfulness through mediation and creating SMART goals. Thank you NSHA for this learning opportunity.

I caught up with this Grade 11 O2 student on his afternoon break. In addition to learning how to weld, he is learning the importance of flexibility and adaptability. A big thank you to his mentor, Ron, at Municipal Group.
