If this is the standard then I’m fine with the one second going back on the clock. If the standard in college is different than elsewhere and they are to use the clock on the replay monitor then that’s completely acceptable. It just still makes the Big Ten statement a lie. There is a clear discrepancy so the idea that they are in sync cannot be true. Reading this interpretation it appears the call was correct (assuming that is the rule).
Was rooting for Michigan. The NCAA should be able to reverse the decision of that game. Every available clock had 0:00 before the ball was touched out of bounds. That’s unbelievably bad especially with the benefit of replay

Assuming there was actual wrongdoing, I think the NBA wants this Clippers/Kawhi cap circumvention to go away because they know it’s not an isolated incident. Setting a precedent for suspending players or removing draft picks could create a wave of suspensions and penalties. Very similar to the MLB sign stealing scandal of “almost everyone’s doing it so we can’t bring the hammer down”.
