Such a great thread Sam. Thank you for sharing ❤️
Had such a lovey day yesterday at the Yorkshire Vision Network conference held @york_med_soc by @TonyMorland2 - My first in person conference in over 2 years, it was great to catch up with old friends and to make some new ones!
My talk was based on research from my PhD @YorkPsychology @UOY_YNiC on what happens to the 👁 and 🧠 in age-related macular degeneration and the applied clinical research I'm now involved in as a research fellow @EyeResearchYork @YSTeachingNHS
I also have to say how lovely it was to finally thank, in person, @DrMelanieBurke for the wonderful experience I had during my PhD viva. Mel was my external examiner and my viva was held virtually due to covid so it was great to finally meet in person, albeit 2 years later!
